25.01.2022 Following our Danish tradition we always have candles on our tree - Beulah's Christmas tree 2013 awash in candle light!
24.01.2022 Luke Fish joined our Taiwanese guest Edward for a music exchange session. Luke plays the didgeridoo and Edward is a renowned player of traditional Taiwanese flutes including the most unusual nose flute ( in his right hand). Beulah resonated with really beautiful music.
23.01.2022 We are away - a small space for Rhubru to continue this rhubarb driven adventure!
22.01.2022 Last week provided the perfect opportunity to light a cosy fire and take some time out to read a good book!!
22.01.2022 enjoyed preparing dinner Saturday night! Roasted Pork Belly with Seared Scallops on a bed of Green Pea Puree. This was topped with a caramalised apple sauce. We really enjoyed the wonderful flavours.
20.01.2022 2015 and all is well! We have had a busy entry into the new year with the Taste of Tasmania, Scottsdale Pacing meet, Barnbougle Polo and our little House of Rhubarb shop open nearly every day! Guests at Beulah are enjoying the garden's bounty....fresh tomatoes, strawberries, cucumber, kale, apricots and soon...appples. Happy 2015 everyone!!
20.01.2022 I remember the day Mandela was released - I was sitting at our dining table in Arusha, Tanzania listening to the BBC while we ate breakfast..it was a day to celebrate. This is beautiful. Jan
18.01.2022 Just letting you know that over the June long weekend, 7-9th June we will have some large metal and wood sculptures in our garden as part of the Rotary Dorset Arts Festival. The artist is Neil Grose, the editor of our local newspaper. Gail Rockliff, from Tulendeena Farm Gate, will also have a selection of home baking and preserves on sale and Holger will be "manning" The House of Rhubarb with free sampling of our products. So, Beulah will be a busy place - hopefully! We would love to see as many people as possible in our region over the weekend to enjoy the local art, craft and food we are showcasing.
17.01.2022 We know Spring isn't far away - just saw two swallows in the garden as I was coming in to make some lunch for us. Holger is in the veggie patch putting in some drip irrigation and I'm planting out some annuals for a touch of colour, and weeding as I go. A beautiful day to be out in the garden!
17.01.2022 The garden has woken up after a long winter spell!
16.01.2022 We had the pleasure of meeting these wonderful chaps as they rode around Tassie on a fund-raising tour to fight against sex slavery in Cambodia. A hearty Beulah breakfast provided the boost they needed for their 110km ride to St Helens!
13.01.2022 Dorset on your Doorstep..NORTH EAST TASMANIA - ALIVE WITH ARTS Whilst elsewhere in Tasmania people are tucking up by the fire and going into winter hibernation, North East Tasmania will be warming our creative hearts with various exhibitions and activities all through the June long weekend. The Dorset region is home to a rich, vibrant arts community with a long history of successful artists, performers and events. The widely known North Eastern Arts & Crafts Annual Exhibit...Continue reading

11.01.2022 Beulah now has a glorious tree fern garden right across the road. Well done - what a great initiative from the street beautification project.
10.01.2022 Here's Barbara and Richard who are travelling around the NE of Tassie having won the Auto Club Spring campaign prize. Worth around $3000.00 it included an overnight stay at Beulah and a Rhu Bru gift pack. From Beulah they were heading to Branxholm to stay with Christine and Graeme at the Tin Dragon Cottages. A great initiative from Tourism Northern Tasmania - thanks to all the other businesses who also donated prizes.
09.01.2022 We are delighted that internationally and nationally awarded photographer Rainee Lantry is coming to stay in mid January 2014. She will have a little spare time to do some photo shoots locally so please have a look at her website and contact her directly if you would like to book some time, or give me a ring at Beulah.
