20.01.2022 Lively tales from Papua New Guinea...finally, finally ready to go to the publisher. Launch date Friday 13, October.

20.01.2022 Politics at present is at low ebb. I would love to see the Democrats back to 'keep the bastards honest'. Can't do anything about that so thought I would make a mighty effort to interest people in reading about them in my book 'The Rise and Fall of the Australian Democrats... an eyewitness account'. It's now available as an ebook on amazon.

19.01.2022 Friday 13 October. Launched 'Lively Tales from Papua New Guinea' at Redcliffe Library. All good. Large crowd. Lots of folk who had lived or worked in PNG. People seemed to enjoy the presentation.

19.01.2022 I'm writing every day... mainly memoir but also poetry. There is such a lot to ponder. I 'tweet' a lot.The give and take of Twitter is like a stimulating conversation around a meal table. I write as carefully as I can to pass on any wisdom I may have but also try not to be dogmatic. Twitter is an international conversation. It's an almost instant connection between people living in every corner of the world. Awesome that one's voice can now be heard anywhere, so I feel a sense of responsibility to do it as well as I can.

18.01.2022 I've noticed a few people tweeting that they're reading 'Rise and Fall of the Australian Democrats' That's happened since I've been making more of an effort to promote it. Also, it's now an e-book on Amazon and a lot cheaper. Could you please tell friends.

15.01.2022 With the present govt becoming so 'ill-liberal' I've been reminiscing on Twitter about the value of having a Party like the Australian Democrats. There's still a lot of good will from people who remember its positive approach. I can't do much practically any more but would encourage folk to read my book 'Rise and Fall of the Australian Democrats'. It's an e-book on Amazon now, and not so expensive.
