23.01.2022 Bevandale Luxus Sally 1st Milking yearling and Hon Mention Intermediate. Her dam is Bevandale Lavanguard Sally EX91 who was Champion cow at Malanda in 2017. Both Lavanguard and Luxus have beautiful Undenied heifer calves. As this is the last photo of our Malanda show team, we need to take a moment to thank Simon Tognola for all of the work and time he has put in for us over the last few months starting with the promotion and fitting at our sale and culminating in these great pictures from the show. 23.01.2022 Probably the most satisfying thing about selling cows happens when someone comes back for more. That’s why we were stoked when John, Dianne, Brad, Annaliisa and Charlie stopped in this week and picked out another 15 milking cows to go with the five they bought at our sale last June (a few of the Bevandale cows taking front and centre in annaliisa’s photo this morning) As another year has drawn to a close we would like to thank all those who have supported us through the year, especially those who have bought from us. We extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the fires on top of the ongoing drought. Here’s to a successful 2020 for all farmers Australia wide

20.01.2022 Congratulations to the Ledger family on their On Farm Challenge results last week. Bevandale Endure Paige was 2nd in the 3 year old class and Bevandale Masterpiece Lillian was 1st place in the 5 year olds. Both of these cows were sold in our Top End sale earlier this year

19.01.2022 Bluechip FV Atwood Bonnie 3rd 4 years in milk (Just 10 days fresh) She is the dam of the Junior Champion Bevandale Callen Bonnie! Bonnie was purchased at the Bluechip Big Bang Dispersal and after having a very rough transition into the tropical climate she is now thriving and we are looking forward to developing this family further. Her calf this year was a Stone-Front Artist heifer

18.01.2022 A great result from today’s Jersey on farm. We entered five and all five went on to win their class with Bevandale Colton Lassie winning the 2 year olds and going on to be Champion Cow. She is only 4 weeks fresh and we’re very excited about her future!

17.01.2022 We had a very successful Malanda Show last weekend. Showing a big team of 17 (11 Holsteins, 4 jerseys and 2 Swiss). 10 won their age class, 3 finished second and 3 third. We will post some highlights over the next few days but thought we should kick it off with one of the stars of the day . Bevandale Metalica Satin VG85 Just three weeks fresh on her 4th calf ... Champion Cow and Reserve Udder. Intermediate Champion Malanda Centenary Show 2016. We believe this cow will continue to get better. Her first two dams and both scored VG88 and still milking. After them comes 6 generations EX!! She descends from the great Leader Satin family and her Bankroll daughter is just fresh on her second calf with an Ammo-P heifer. See more

15.01.2022 The FNQ Holstein on farm competition results were announced last night and for the third year in a row we were lucky enough to come away with Champion Cow with Bevandale Bradnick Frieda taking the honour this year. Other highlights included: 2yrs 3rd-Bevandale Beemer Lorraine ... 3yrs 2nd-Bevandale Defiant Sally-red 5th-Bevandale Byway Sallyblue 4yrs 1st-Bevandale Mcapple Frodine 3rd-Bevandale Deceiver Meg (sold to Jerry English in the Top End sale) 4th-Bevandale Equation Sally 5yrs 1st-Bevandale Bradnick Frieda 4th-Bevandale Loaded Nona Mature 2nd-Bevandale Dempsey Lorraine Total numbers for this year’s competition were 95 head from 15 exhibitors. A huge thank you to Simon Tognola for all his photos, design, marketing and fitting. Along with his crew of helpers during sale week. Sale average was $1,985 over 50 lots sold with a top of $4,000 for lot 27-Bevandale Chief Shower, she sold to the partnership of Ourway, Promenade and Nateley. We have a list of what is still for sale available. Please contact us if you would like to view it. There is a truck heading to SE QLD later this week
