Tonight we are giving away 10 half leg hams and 10 meat trays from our friends at Jumbuck Meats Gourmet Butchery along with other goodies to get you right into the festive spirit. 25.01.2022 Friday night Christmas Ham raffles are back for December. This week we are giving away 5 half legs from our good friends at Jumbuck Meats Gourmet Butchery. Next week it’ll be 7 and on the 18th we will give away 10. There are also bar vouchers, wine, dining vouchers with Joe’s Kitchen and a $100 eftpos card to give away. Draws commence around 6.30pm. 24.01.2022 Good afternoon, Over recent days we have seen the NSW Premier remind the state’s residents to be on extra high alert and extra COVID-safe and wear a mask in crowded areas as new infections continue to emerge. With that in mind we’d like to let you know what extra precautions we are taking at the club to ensure the safest possible environment for all of our members, guests and staff. Firstly, we are installing Perspex sneeze guards at the Office, Bar, Café and Pro Shop. Thes...e are expected to arrive tomorrow and will be put up as soon as they arrive. Secondly, staff who are on the floor will be wearing a mask. Staff who are behind a counter/bar are able to maintain social distancing so they won’t be required to wear one, however all staff who are working indoors in the Lounge, Restaurant or Pro Shop will be wearing a mask for the benefit of both patrons and themselves. And finally, the Office door will now be closed and access only permitted at the discretion of staff. We call on all patrons to be respectful of the new policies. Please understand that this is being done to give the club every opportunity to stay open and provide the safest environment for everybody. 23.01.2022 I'm sure many of you are looking forward to the opportunity to unwind over the Christmas/New Year period after one of the most unique and trying years on record. This time last year the skies were filled with smoke as our state faced devastating bushfires. Only a few months later our community faced challenges not seen in our lifetimes. For the most part we have come through it unscathed and in some ways even flourished. Hopefully this is an opportunity for you to relax and ...enjoy yourself, surrounded by as many loved ones as possible under the current regulations. To those of you who have had travel plans disrupted due to the Northern Beaches outbreak I hope that you are able to make alternate plans in lieu. The club will be closed on Christmas Day but will be open every other day. No doubt the course will be busy thanks to the restrictions placed on Sydney residents. To finish on a great note, we received news from our club's solicitor that he appeared on our behalf this morning for judgment over the proposed boundary fence and The Land & Environment Court granted approval for it to go ahead. 09.01.2022 From November, we are changing the way we do Saturdays at Beverley Park with social golf available every Saturday to the public from 1pm. To celebrate, we are adding in a refreshing schooner of tap beer (or a glass of house wine if you'd prefer) when you book a round of 18 holes from 1pm online. Simply print off the receipt you get emailed after making the booking and present it to the bar staff.
