25.01.2022 Consideration for others is a sign of inner development and manifestation of civilization. If it is all about you then you are uncivilized. If your culture doe...s not promote consideration for others it is a low culture and that society cannot promote the attributes that makes societies great. See more

11.01.2022 An update from Australia Post nad delays with parcel deliveries. Image may contain: possible text that says 'UPDATE' Bargara Post OfficeLike Page 53 mins... AUSTRALIA POST HAS MADE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES to help process Parcels and to deliver them to you faster. Current volumes have exceeded previous busiest periods and Australia Post facilities are processing close to 2 million parcels a day. This heavy volume combined with significantly reduced flights and the impact of social distancing in facilities has led to delays. To adapt to these pressures, Australia Post has made the following changes: - Processing facilities are operating 24/7 - 15 new or repurposed processing facilities have been added to increase capacity. - 8 extra freighter flights have been added within Australia so Australia Post now have 17 dedicated air freighter flights per day. - Hundreds of casual staff have been recruited into the network and contact centres. For those sending or waiting on international parcels, please be aware that there are significant delays to many destinations due to limited flights and government restrictions. Impacts to the USA, New Zealand, Germany and France are significant with severe delays being experienced. Where Airline capacity does become available, Australia Post continue to prioritise Express Parcels. A number of destinations also have full-service suspensions where Australia Post are unable to move Parcels due to airport closures or major delivery issues. Australia Post understands that these international and local impacts are frustrating, however your posties, Delivery drivers, Post Office team members and contact centre staff are doing their best, so thank you for your understanding. As a reminder, Australia Post’s tracking tool provides you with the most accurate guidance on estimated delivery dates and advise you of any delays while your parcel is in transit. To get the most from the post and to stay up to date on all service impacts, please visit the Australia Post website www.auspost.com.au Thank you for your patience Your team at Australia Post
