18.01.2022 A must-read for anyone who wears glasses and is required to wear a mask during the Greater Brisbane lockdown During Melbourne's lockdown, a local surgeon shared her top tip to stop her glasses from fogging up. Dr Julie Miller posted this wisdom from "generations of surgeons" on her Twitter account in July last year.... She said use micropore tape, which you can find for about $2 at any chemist. Then tape the mask along the bridge of your nose and cheeks and put your glasses on top. "Can’t operate with fogged lenses," she said. Another way is to put a folded tissue across the bridge of your nose under the mask. Dr Miller added that you should wash your hands before masking up and after removing your mask. Then put it straight into the bin if it's disposable, or a plastic bag if reusable. "Pretend the front is covered in paint - don’t touch," she said.
