25.01.2022 If you follow us or have know us for a long time you’ll know that our favourite event is Specialised Team. The club has a rich history in this event, even long before half of these members were even born. Throughout the club’s history the junior members have always longed to be in the adult specialised team, just waiting to be old enough to join. We hope that we are continuing to inspire the next generation of Bexley kids. For those viewers outside Australia in this event th...e requirements are 2/3rd’s dance minimum 1/3rd twirling, props are allowed and there are no restrictions in twirling content however it’s usually kept simple for effect. There are very similar events in other associations around the world. This was last years routine and it’s definitely up there with some of our most favourite ever. We are also joined in this team by our best and dearest friends from Woollahra Baton Twirlers. We hope you enjoy. xo See more

24.01.2022 And that’s a wrap on 2020 for us. Missing a few faces in the photo tonight, but we had fun celebrating the year that was and were even treated to a belly dancing lesson! A huge thank you to our students for turning up each week whether is was via zoom or in person when we could train together again, and to our parents for your continued support throughout this crazy year. As always to our coaches our heartfelt thanks goes to you for your undying support not just here at B...exley but to the whole sport and our twirling community. The dedication and passion you consistently display are the qualities of true role models. We can’t forget the backbones of our support system either, the husbands, partners, parents and grandparents who continue to guide, mentor, pick up / drop off and babysit at a moments notice, we could not do this without you We are looking forward to 2021 with fresh eyes & minds and are ready to tackle any challenges that come our way. 19.01.2022 Going into the archives today for the next installment of things we love. This is the Adult Specialised from 2005 performed to "Get Happy". The routine was trained exclusively in chorus shoes for the full broadway effect, however at the time of compettion the venue would not allow the shoes to be worn on their newly refurbished floor - much to the devestation of the girls. But as they say, the show must go on and after some beg, borrowing and stealing, and the kindness of our... 17.01.2022 We love the history and tradition of Marchast, and in 2013 we went old skool with traditional music and pulled out some costumes from the archives that looked as good on the floor that day as they did on the field 30 years prior. Thanks @lynni_k for taking such good care of these costumes - and for being part of the sewing bee that made them originally. While it's much more convienient to perform marchpast indoors it's just not the same feeling as lacing up your marching boo...ts and stepping out onto the field (even if it is freezing). 13.01.2022 It's so hard to not say this is another one of our favourite routines... but it really is! 2013 was a year of super social training, BBQ's, late nights, loads of laughs and some serious cardio fitness. We are looking back now and thinking how did we manage that, no way could we get through that now without a little break - hahahaha . This week we are rolling into another sad milestone. This weekend would have been our National Championships. Like so many other associations an...d sports around the globe we are missing our training partners, our friends, our rivals, our competitions but most of all our communities that we build that keep us going, that push us just that little bit more and that support us when we need it most. 09.01.2022 So we are starting very recently for our routine flashbacks. This is one of our favourtite large open team routines. We had so much fun putting this piece together. There were always laughs, maybe a few tears, and possibly a meltdown or two at training. But it's always fun when we are together. 07.01.2022 Who loved Moana the movie? These girls certainly did! A fun specialised team for the Junior & Juveniles performed to "You're Welcome" from the Moana soundtrack. By the end of it they knew every word and would sing it constantly (very loudly!). They took home the State Title and placed 3rd at Nationals that year.

02.01.2022 Kicking off Sunday with our Junior Small team from 2013. These young girls worked so hard on this routine that year, walking away with the national title, huge smiles and full hearts.

02.01.2022 Winding it back a couple of years to 2017, and these two cuties just nailed their pairs and became National Champions. The year started with competing in their first international competition at the inaugural Pan Pacific Cup in Stockton, USA, where the placed 4th in the finals. Such an awesome experience for them.
