Be a friend and take time to listen and care a little when someone you know wants to share their business with you. Take the time to support a friend by listening! Not by buying stuff from them but finding out more about what they do so that you may be able to refer others one day. This is why I am so quick to think of someone in direct sales first! It's not easy to make a living in an industry that relies on relationships and referrals! I understand this.
