21.01.2022 OK NDIS is knocking on our door. It's just a few very short months away. So how are you going with your preparation? If you are anything like me, it is all in your head, literally.... I have these great goals in my head and I need to get them on paper before my planning meeting. So here are a few tips for your planning meeting: Prepare a list of questions - Endeavour foundation suggest the following questions how will my plan be sent to me? does it matter if I don't have a computer or email? how do i contact you if I need to check on you? will i be able to review the plan before it is finalised? how long until i receive my final plan? the appeal process understanding my plan will i be funded for a support coordinator? what is plan management? implementing your plan If you think you might get a bit flustered take a support person with you all your documentation - reports, diagnosis evidence, your statement, a statement from your person with a disability, your goals etc be positive - don't buy into the negative discussions, each of our journeys is different

12.01.2022 I am starting with the book "Escape to Prosperity" by Wes Beavis. My take from Chapter 1 We don't lose our freedom in one transaction so we can't expect to break down the walls in one go. It is a process that needs to be planned.... My take from Chapter 2 This chapter is about low self esteem. For me, especially, I took a beating business wise and my self esteem took one too. So to build our self esteem, we need to: be less self absorbed see yourself as a success set some goals clean up your environment be in control of your eating and spending habits start saving give some money away drive a clean car perform an act of thoughtfulness prove your restraint
