25.01.2022 Let’s talk about creating sacred space. Many people who enter our house tell us you can feel the calm when you step in. This is not just because we live in the country, I work really hard to create a space at home that nourishes us. One of the things I have done is to create a corner that can just be sat at to just be. Whether it’s to look out the window at the antics of the daily wild birds that feed there, whether it’s to pull a card to see what the day has in store for m...e or whether it’s just to sit there and meditate, it is a space that represents home and connection for me and part of a wellness strategy. If you don’t teach your mind calm, how can you expect to feel calm. If you don’t shut the monkey mind off for a few minutes a day how will you find peace? It doesn’t just happen, you have to create it. What do you guys do to create a haven in your home for nourishing your nervous system. Happy wellness Wednesday See more

20.01.2022 Let’s talk pelvic floor!!! For those of you who may be concerned with leakage either because of weak pelvic floor muscles, or suffer with heavy periods. I am excited to now be stocking the pelvi range for you. Holds the equivalent of 1-3 tampons depending on size. Looks and feels like a normal panty yet developed with no harsh chemicals or fibres like disposables to ensure leakproof underwear.... Daily confidence and comfort guaranteed. Happy fertility Friday See more

18.01.2022 Let’s talk food prep. Something like a daily juice can be time consuming and many people can’t be bothered with doing it themselves. If you plan for it often doing the prep first makes it easier for when you are ready just whizzing all the prepared veggies through the juicer. I usually add a little coconut oil and ground flaxseed to my juices to not only give them more ‘body’ but also to slow the release of sugar down and maintain stable blood sugar levels. Another way to get more nutrition into your cells without the energy required to break the food down. One of my favourite recipes is celery, pineapple, lime, cucumber and blended avocado. Yummy! Happy tasty Tuesday

13.01.2022 Diversity is about all of us, and about us having to figure out how to walk through this world together. ~Jacqueline Woodson A big one to focus on this year. Many people will have many different opinions to you, will come from different backgrounds, had different experiences in life and may push some of your buttons. For me just like I strive for biodiversity in my soil to ensure I get the healthiest plants, I believe that biodiversity in our community breeds the strongest and healthiest nation. 12.01.2022 Today I am so grateful for these beautiful gifts my final year clinic students gave me. Humbled beyond words and so proud of them getting through their degrees to go out and be of service to those who need help with their health. Thank you so much ladies Happy thankful Thursday

12.01.2022 Food doesn’t have to be hard to be tasty. Yummy fruit as nature intended no fancy recipe just pure deliousness straight from the fruit itself. You could add some natural yoghurt and almonds for a quick breakfast, or freeze some and make your own sorbet, or add to a glass of water with mint for an infused drink. So simple, so quick so nutritious. Happy tasty Tuesday

09.01.2022 Creating an outdoor chill area is part of my strategy to commune with nature more. Walking barefoot on the earth as nature intended, interacting with microbes in our environment builds resilience in our immune system. Add some time to your day in nature and your body and mind will thank you for it.

08.01.2022 Happy motivational Monday

02.01.2022 Today I am grateful just for being alive. When I sit and think of where I’m at right now and my journey to get there, I am in awe of how things unfolded perfectly to get me to a place of contentment. Have I had bad luck along the way ? God yeah, have I had to deal with horrible people, my own insecurities, illness, heartbreak death of a parent and loved one, not having any money? Relationship breakups, loss of a business,? Absolutely! Have things always fallen into place per...fectly for me ? No but whatever life has thrown at me it has been accepted with the knowledge that there are thousands of people around the world always in a worse place than me, and I am alive to see the sun rise. I can hear the birds sing and smell the salt in the ocean, and am not starving. This helps keep things in perspective. So today I am very mindful of the people in the UK, America, Brazil and India who are especially having it tough in the current situation and I am grateful that the current mortality rate of < 1 % is way lower than the mortality rate of the 2012 Corona virus (MERS-CoV) (34.4 % ) and SARS (severe acute respiratory related coronavirus ) of 9.6%. Small things to be grateful for. Happy thankful Thursday See more
