25.01.2022 The Spilt Milk music festival came to Canberra Town yesterday and Beyond The Box Pictures was fortunate to be asked to provide big screen video content for the 12hrs of music, dancing and people having an awesome time. Some truely pumping music performances. Two teams , four full HD broadcast spec cameras, creatively operated and directed onsite, over two stages for 12 hrs. Pretty proud of the ENTIRELY based Canberra team that pulled off a great product for the 25000 crowd. Field produced and filmed this short video for the Heart Foundation social media channel as they provided a grant to Scouts ACT SciScouts to run their Active Australia Innovation Challenge. The joey scouts learn the science behind exercise , healthy living and being active. It was a fast and hectic shoot with goal of capturing the action, learning and fun of the day. Lots of laughter and big smiles.

20.01.2022 On location with an interesting little Obsdoc documentary shoot a couple weeks back. Investigating how life is for people with Down Syndrome. We were visiting a child care centre that has the facilities and staff to support children with different care needs. Sony F5, shooting Cine EI , slog3cine3 gamma setting for you camera geeks. Going with a natural lighting style .The producer/ director was rocking her Canon C300 Mk2. Always great working with my sound buddy David O'Rourke. 17.01.2022 Live streaming today into a multi location program for a conference. We had two rooms streaming simultaneously to the control room in Melbourne. These were cut into a three hour show. Contributors were in Brisbsne, Sydney and Canberra. The show was a series of panel discussions. Its good using the 37 years of Broadcast TV experience making tv for web distribution. Same same but with 2020 challenges.

03.01.2022 Weekend on the road in rural NSW providing big screen coverage and a social media highlight video for the "Tumbafest "festival in Tumbarumba. Two days of food, region wines and music. Headlining were Kate Ceberano and The Wolfe Brothers. Thousands turned out to support the region which was one of many this summer smashed by bushfires. It was an enjoyable weekend. Great vibe so next year it'ld be worth heading back without a camera just to enjoy it. Can you spot my cameo in the video?

Shot this package for The Project to celebrate the milestone.
