25.01.2022 2020!! What a year! After realising I wouldn’t be able to travel to Europe for my Gap Year from Uni, the entire course of my life changed. This is what happened: ... I took the leap to follow my dream of being a photographer and started my own business. I got my prints into four stores, including my dream shop @turquoiselane and favourite surf shop @evolution_surf !! I photographed my first wedding and then booked and photographed many more. I even had requests to book for 2023!!! I got paid to shoot for @hoboandhatch @hoboandhatch_thelabel - one of my all time favourite ethical fashion brands in Dunsborough. I photographed my dream girl, role model and idol, the one and only @flickpalmateer ! I had my first ever market stall at the Summer Salt beach markets @summerxsalt and loved every moment!! I couldn’t have done it without the amazing help from my best friend @amybelke_ and beautiful mum @mary._casey for helping me serve customers and wrap the prints!! I created my first ever calendar, which was West Coast themed for 2021 with the help of my amazing and talented friend @joshvanstaden @jvmedia_ - and it had completely sold out within a week!! I travelled to Scotland, London, Esperance, the South West, Kalbarri, Horrocks, did a road trip around Broome & The Kimberley, and got stranded in Red Bluff! I spent lockdown in Dunsborough and Margs. I met some of the most amazing people in my travels. People whom taught me very important life lessons, how to live, how to let go, how to be free and fearless. You know who are, so thank you. Thank you to each and every person I met, who loved me, supported me and were by my side through the wild ride that was 2020. It was my best year to date and I am so grateful for every single experience.
