24.01.2022 Research has shown that physiotherapy can decrease pain and improve quality of life for those waiting for some elective procedures. We are still taking in rooms physiotherapy patients but may be able to consult via teleconferencing if you are reluctant or unable to leave the house
24.01.2022 The Federal health minister has deemed Physiotherapy an essential service and so we remain open for individual Physiotherapy and small group Pilates. We have all undertaken additional infection control training and our cleaning procedures have further increased, plus increased spacing between reformers. For those not able to attend the clinic we have posted more online exercise videos & will soon offer LIVE streamed Pilates classes. Plus preparing to move to Telehealth for individual consultations.

23.01.2022 Pilates classes commence Monday 9th November. Bookings can be secured online. Here is our current timetable - slight time changes, as we have added extra breaks between classes to allow for sanitising reformers after every class.

Works well for chronic pain, exercise rehabilitation, continence care plus musculoskeletal injuries (like hip, knee & shoulder pain).

From 1st June, small group rehab classes will commence and then from 22nd June additional Pilates classes will be added - smaller class sizes and slightly different times to allow more time for cleaning. 10.01.2022 To our hypermobile & hEDS clients impacted by chronic fatigue, there is an excellent learning opportunity through the Ehlers Danlos Society. I saw a huge improvement in a hypermobile client last week, who has now got her low blood pressure under control, which has improved her ability to exercise and get through each day - she looked ten years younger in six months. Amazing! To our hypermobile clients, it is a long journey, with plenty of hurdles, but dont give up, you can do it! And we are here to support you.

08.01.2022 It is the start of Australian Birth Trauma Awareness Week. Just a reminder that birth is a wonderful experience for most families but not all... Just in the last week I have treated two new mums who are experiencing recent birth trauma and I would like to show my support to them, their partners and their families who have been impacted. ABTA encourages new mums, and partners, to seek help with their trauma.

So we are offering 30 minute massages with our Physio team to help people through this time. Be Your Best Physio is following the Governments recommended cleaning protocols, have plenty of hand sanitiser for clients & screening all clients before they enter clinic, to ensure everyones safety.
