24.01.2022 Some more carbon bits... Backing pads/reinforcing for turning block and winch base, which was starting to crush into the foam core. Good way to spread the load without cutting into the boat or painting..

22.01.2022 New base and re-enforcing for goosneck on a carbon mast. Lay up was carbon unis and twill weave,with the final layer a tow spread carbon fibre, cut on a bias to match the mast. Replaces dodgy old stainless steel bracket and covers the bolt holes.

21.01.2022 Balsa repairs to sports boat, aggh Balsa!.. Replaced bad area's with corecell foam.

14.01.2022 We have been a bit busy on other projects lately, but here we are back to dinghy unmolding part 2!

06.01.2022 Daggerboard repairs are always interesting.. This is off a 13 m catamaran after a grounding at speed. Broken at the top, the trailing edge where it meets the hull, and some gravel rash on the bottom.. A sacrificial tip would help in this case.. Repaired with carbon uni/biax layup,and finished with copper epoxy. Resprayed with 2 part polyurethane on the top.
