24.01.2022 Today we received a very special delivery from QPS Brisbane who adopted 5 Grandpas in our 2020 Grandie Christmas appeal and provided a 4WD full of extra gifts and a cash donation to support our wonderful Grandies 2020 Christmas appeal #QPS #givingback

23.01.2022 The last of our Grandies for our 2020 Christmas program are now available for adoption! We're so close to fulfilling almost 200 Grandie's wish-lists! Can you help us get across the finish line and ensure that no Grandie is left behind?

15.01.2022 Today is the final day for delivery of your Grandies wishlists. We'll be accepting the wishlists until 4:00pm today at the Brisbane Basket Brigade Packing Weekend, The Arena, Sleeman Sports Centre, Chandler. We're still awaiting the delivery of 33 Grandie wishlists. If you have adopted a Grandie and are no longer able to support them please reach out to us urgently so we can make sure that no Grandie wishlist goes unfulfilled. ... If you have already delivered THANK YOU! Amazing! We just know that our Grandies are going to feel so loved, supported and valued.

14.01.2022 Grandies adopters on the Gold Coast don't forget tomorrow is your last day to deliver your wish-lists down the Gold Coast. Our team will be accepting gifts between 10am - 12pm and 4pm - 7pm at The Riverhouse, 110 Riverstone Crossing, Maudsland. We'll continue to accept gifts at various Brisbane locations until COB this Friday.

09.01.2022 And that's a wrap, figuratively and literally! We're incredibly excited to announce that our very first Christmas program supported 165 Grandies over 10 different nursing homes and NFPs. After 4 incredible days of sorting, organising and wrapping all our Grandies gift packages have been delivered (with the help of our special elves) and are now with the nominating organisations ready to be handed out over the next couple of weeks at their respective Christmas functions.... There are a few people we need to thank that made all of the possible: - All of our amazing adopters. Your wish-list packages were nothing short of incredible and so heartfelt. The thoughtfulness of your extra touches made the giftng so special - 96five FM for taking a chance and partnering with us to spread the word of Brisbane & Gold Coast Grandies Gifting Program as part of their Heart of Christmas campaign - Universal Pictures International Australasia for supporting us Nationwide - Bayton Group for their amazing donation that helped us ensure no wish-list went unfulfilled - #QPS Gold Coast for their adoptions, donations and special deliveries on Friday - All our other corporate supporters who rallied their teams to adopt a Grandie - Brisbane Basket Brigade for allowing us to use a small portion of their venue and some of their weekend volunteers AND most importantly our small committee of just 3 people who pulled the whole program together, with the support of an amazing network of families and friends. We.look forward to being back again for our 2021 Christmas Program bigger and better than ever.
