25.01.2022 The BGSS 2020 Run with Colour will be held on Friday 27th November, during school hours; sadly, due to the current restrictions, NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED ON SITE for this event. We do ask that all students participating bring a plain white shirt to change into, as students will be covered from head to toe in an explosion of colour. The day’s focus is on fun and fitness with the added benefit of raising funds for our school. Funds raised this year will be put towards The Resilience Project in 2021. Permission notes and sponsorship forms will come home this week, so please keep an eye out. We are so excited to be able to bring this event to BG this year lets hope it lifts our spirits and gives 2020 a little bit of colour

23.01.2022 Can you believe we are half-way through Term 1??? Time to start thinking about Easter and our next fundraiser of the year is our Easter Raffle! Notes and raffle tickets will be coming home very soon , however we are on the hunt for our hamper boxes. If anyone has any of these paper box lids lying around or in the office could you please bring them into school and drop them off at the Tuck-shop... Many Thanks

21.01.2022 WOW! What a result ..$10,000. We are just blown away and would like to thank each and everyone of our families and friends for sponsoring the students on Friday!! Everybody had such a fantastic time and Im sure everyone's washing machine has been put to the test this weekend The day would not have been possible without our fantastic volunteers and Tuck-shop Staff , 180 Meal Deals flew out the door for first break , we hope everyone who ordered one enjoyed their lunch.. ...Thanks goes to Amanda B ,Aaron, Angela ,Olivia,Shannan and Karen also a special Shout out to Mr Applegate for jumping in and lending a hand first and second break Thanks to all the staff and teachers for jumping in and splashing the paint around for us , as we could not be there this year ( I have a feeling you guys had just as much fun ) Also big hugs to Mrs Ballinger & Mr Snell for setting up the course for us. We need to also thank our Fundraising Co-ordinator Amanda Nass for all your efforts & running such a successful event. 18.01.2022 Great news BG! Our very own Street Library has gone up.... A massive thank you to our wonderful BG mum Cherie Stuart for the magnificent art work and design on the Library. And a big High Five to Mr Snell for installing it this week.. The Street Library is located just past the year 1 block on the way to the Rainforest. Students can collect or exchange a book on their way to do some quiet reading in our beautiful rainforest area. The only thing missing now are the BOOKS!... If you would like to donate or share a book please send one along with your child to place in the Library.. Thank you for supporting our P&C, it's projects like these that remind us of what a wonderful community we have. See more

12.01.2022 The P&C in conjunction with the school are looking to trial a different fundraiser for the end of this year. We are looking at a possible 2021 school calendar, with school dates, photos and events outlined, although we will need your support to get this project off the ground! Currently we are requesting Expressions of Interest’ from our BG community by means of advertising sponsorship to keep the printing costs down on the production of the calendars. We are proposing a SILVER AD (10cm x 5cm) for $275 GOLD AD (10cm x 10cm) for $550.
