24.01.2022 Lovely 3yo gelding for sale. He has a temperament to suit the fussiest buyer. Sweet kind and honest will mature just over 15 hands. Cuddles is a very easy horse to have around. He is good to catch! Float, farrier, ties up well. He is kind to other horses loves everyone. He has been on two outings snd been perfectly behaved. He is fine left on feed without work he doesn't need lunging or working down. Rides on a loose rein. Would make good competition horse or pleasure ride. He is ready for the next stage in his life. Who will be the lucky person that gets this baby, he is offered for sale for $2500 inc gst I will post better photos of hiim over the next few day, unfortunately I only had my bigger lens on today so couldn't fit him all in. He will be rich gold in colour mature 15.1 or better, be of solid build and have a pretty, modern face. 18.01.2022 I have just been speaking to a farmer at Minlaton who has frosted hay for sale at 260 a ton. I have asked him to hold some back for our local farmers who are doing it tough. 18.01.2022 We said farewell to Rolley this morning. Off on his new adventure with his beautiful new family. He is a lucky biy 3 generations of lovely people to dote over him.

16.01.2022 Productive day. India and Vanessa drafted wet cattle from dry cattle in paddock while I worked gate and Pete and Hayden held the mob and turned back. Moved a couple of dry mares out to pasture. Brought three wet mares up for Ricky to start hslter training their foals. Brax and Sadie are going perfectly now. All happening. Tomorrow Cisco, Heidi and Catalina start their baby steps.

16.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon we lost one of our dear old mares, Laura, she was 35 years old, she has been in our family since she was rescued off Lake Mundi as a 4 month old baby that was too weak to stand, it took ages of rotating between a hanging frame and a mattress to nurse her back to health til she was strong enough to stand again. Close to 100 horses were destroyed as they were abandoned and left to die, many were already dead. Laura went on to be my eldest sons first pony, sh...e has lived a long and healthy life, loved by us all. I was devastated to find her dead yesterday afternoon and only now that I have processed it that I can speak of it. She has been buried on a nice flat between the dam and the creek bed. I will miss this little pony dearly for the huge impact she had on our lives. Taken suddenly still in good health but unfortunately hearts just don't beat forever. RIP Laura thank you for all the good times, you will live forever more in our hearts. Even though this has been expected when they get to such a grand old age, words can not describe how shattered I am. See more

14.01.2022 No wonder visitors can't tell which foal is out of which mare....bloody things will allow anyone on the milk bar. Not only are they doing it here at home but even out in the 700 acre paddock they are swapping foal or co feeding two foals off one Mum. Also have a 28yo never had a foal mare in her life adopt an orphan 6 week old foal that needed some care. Love my amazing mares and their beautiful natures.

13.01.2022 Two yearlings out to the paddock and 2 2yo brought in for starting. Nulla is home, so keen to see what he is about. Very happy with the youngsters, Nulla has only been in a float once 12 months ago, we drove out to their paddock the horses came over, unloaded the 2 we had, put halters n the 2 we wanted and loaded them up. Now for the next chapter to beging. The little chestnut we brought in will be on the market so keep and eye out if you are interested in a pretty youngster that is bred to perform and has the temperament to suit.

12.01.2022 As we are not a charitiy organisation and have our own bills to pay. We will no longer be taking horses on agistment unless you pay up front. I am sorry if this offends anyone but I have to work a normal working week and then daily drive the 45 km round trip to check livestock and feed it, if your horse is not worth paying a minimal agistment for to help cover my costs then it is no longer welcome here. Sorry but I am over chasing people for pittance for the care of their animals.

09.01.2022 Wednesday night Vanessa, Kyler and I squeezed a relaxing ride in before our usual Wed night date night dinners. Well the first 200m was relaxing. I'm riding a young horse broken in 3or 4 years back and not ridden since. They always say ride 3 is the one to watch out for. Anyway Zip took fright to the dog running along behind him when he caught him out the corner of his eye, took fright, spun in a nanosecond, put in a jump and a buck. All this took place whilst I was riding a...long on a loose rein. To say I'm sore is an understatement. I have big dark bruising on one leg and arm while my opposite side knee is double in size. It really hurts. Upside is I climbed back on and had a good rest of a ride. Tonight he was a superstar. So proud of him, went back over dented ground, he was a gem. Took in some new challenges and faced them with trust and want to try. Glad I dragged my sore and sorry butt back into the saddle tonight. Was worth every groan. See more

09.01.2022 Yesterday was a bit of a rush for me. Had a 12 hour day between work and cattle feeding. So I never managed to get this pic up. Ivy has given us her final foal. We are blessed with a filly to fill her mothers place in time in our breeding program. Pip as we call the foal is by Charmed Im Sure. We will be placing Ivys rising 2yo palomino filly on the market.

07.01.2022 It's that yime of the year again. This afternoon at 4.30 pm 10 days early we welcomed a filly foal from our great little performance mare BGW In the Spotlight and b6 BGW Kid Roc. Can't say how happy I am that this ones a filly. She will be called BGW Roc n in the Spotlight

07.01.2022 We took advantage of the cooler weather today. Brought 3 foals in and started weaning. Went quite smoothly. Just a few phone pics of the boys

06.01.2022 Our patient has arrived home, all well and bouncing around like no tomorrow. I would like to thank Holly Kewis from Morphettville Equine Clinic for all her hard work. Also thank you to Darren Leaver and Kara Smith for picking up mare and foal and delivering them home to us. Would also like to announce that Foxx has been sold, he is going to be fulfilling a 20 year dream to a very lovely and lucky lady. Now that makes me smile.

06.01.2022 Sorry everyone I haven't updated for ages have been crazy trying to buy hay and keep everyone Alive in this horrendous drought. We have had to put 3 retirees down as well as 2 cows that went down. Not sure why as we're still healthy. One was aged. Every day is a struggle sourcing hay and feeding after work.

06.01.2022 Have been so busy trying to survive this drought that haven't had much time for keeping this page happening. Have young horses waiting to be handled. A heap to register but purchasing feed has taken precedence over everything. Will try and keep you all up to date on more happenings.
