24.01.2022 At 6am on ANZAC Day musicians everywhere are being called on to take to their front yards to play the Last Post. A grassroots campaign for Australians to comme...morate Anzac Day at dawn in their driveways is gathering momentum across the country. With traditional services and marches cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, RSL branches in every state have unanimously endorsed the gesture, with families across the nation expected to stand at their gates, on balconies or verandahs at 6am on Saturday April 25. Please join us and the rest of Australia in this special moment to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for this nation. We may not be able to stand together as we usually would, but we can still stand united in spirit. 18.01.2022 They have arrived!! Thank you to all the families for being so patient, we will need to be a little more patient due to the Covid restrictions. We will review on Monday. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to our executive team on the P&C who have all worked together to put this altogether in a very tight time frame. Also too Mrs Hanson, Mrs Walsh and staff at BHPS who have helped throughout the process as well.

15.01.2022 Wouldnt it be amazing if you opened the door and could hear everyone clapping and cheering streets apart. Remember Ladies and Gents, on Sunday 29th March at 7pm can you all either stand on your doorsteps or open a window and clap and cheer as loudly as you can for all the frontline workers - Medical professionals and staff, carers, food and medicine deliver drivers, shop workers, TEACHERS, and anyone else on the frontline, risking their own lives to make yours better. Lets try and get this around the country. Copy and paste and keep it moving to as many as we can.

13.01.2022 Jenny & Kellie are excited on returning to the Canteen! They have been hard at work these past few weeks to modify the canteen to suit the current requirements.

12.01.2022 Please note that Kiss & Drop hours have been increased outside the school on Tristram Road. The morning remains the same 8am to 9.30am. In the afternoon it now becomes a "kiss & pick up" area from 2.30pm to 4pm.

10.01.2022 This Saturday we will honour the contribution of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps when we observe Anzac Day, 25 April. It is one of Australias most important national occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. A great way to remember this day and pay tribute to those who have and are serving is to walk to the bottom of your driveway at 6am on Saturday, observe a minut...es silence and play the last post. You could also make an ANZAC candle holder like this to use on the day.

06.01.2022 This week, early childhood educators and teachers across the country will go into early learning services, preschools and schools where they will interact with children of essential workers and non essential workers who could be exposed to COVID-19. They will not be given face masks or protective clothing. They wont get free coffee, half price pizza or special shopping hours. ... They will perform their jobs in ways they have never done before and they will do it with a smile on their faces so that the children in their care dont know how scared they are; Scared for those children. Scared for their own. Scared of being responsible for taking the virus home to loved ones. Thank you to all Educators, Teachers and anyone else heading into an early learning centre, preschool or school this week to keep it running so that our amazing health workers and carers can take care of the sick and the vulnerable, our shops can stay open and services can continue. You too are heroes!
