The Bhutanese Student Association of Armidale celebrated the Bhutanese new year or Losar with patrons of the association, new and old friends of Bhutan and supervisors of HDR students. The event also highlighted the historical account of UNE- Bhutan relationship nurtured over the past 40 years or so and the deep connections and contributions made by this collaboration. The losar also marked the end of the term of the executive members of the association, Sangay Dema (President), Kaka ( Vice president), Jambay Lhamo ( Treasurer) and Ngawang Chogyal ( Secretary General) and election of new members; Dolay Tshering (President), Sonam Penjor ( Vice president), Pema Choki ( Treasurer) and Dema ( Secretary General.
