25.01.2022 Dear community members A special meeting of the Bhutanese community has been organized by BAASA and it is to be held on Sunday , 12 August 2018 at the 10 Church Street, Salisbury SA 5108 (St. John Church), commencing at 1:30 pm. It is important that the main aim of the meeting is achieved and all discussions and decisions are validated. As a member of the community, you have a right to participate in discussion and decisions about the community development and give your inpu...t. Several issues will be discussed at this meeting, including: community updates and future programs including Community Centre Development Project Proposal second review of Second Australian Bhutanese Conference (ABC2) and 10th Settlement Day We look forward to seeing you at this meeting on Sunday, 12 August 2018.



25.01.2022 Dear valued everyone Beyond a shadow of a doubt this year's Settlement Day was the best one yet. From the beautiful dances, executive members, extended coordinators, the leaders of different samaj, amazing volunteers and participants' commitment to the delicious menu it was obvious to all who attended that you put great time and effort into making 9th Settlement Day event a big success. BAASA wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful run through , as well... as for all of the time and effort that you routinely put into organising this event. I appreciate all of the work you have done and always look forward the same in coming days. Heartfelt thanks to Andre , Manager, Victor Church and his crew members for supporting to organise this event. We would also like to thank event sponsors, guests, community members and all other supporters. Thank you again for all that you did in coordinating our event. 22.01.2022 Elizabeth Local Service Area Police are inviting the community to walk with us in our White Ribbon Walk to support White Ribbon Australia and their work to stop violence against women. The short walk will commence from Salisbury Police Station, 24 Mary Street Salisbury at 11am on Friday 28th July 2017. The walk will continue onto Wiltshire Street, Gawler St, the entire length of John Street, Ann St and back to Wiltshire St where it will conclude at Salisbury Police Station where Police will host a sausage sizzle for a gold coin donation. All funds raised will go to White Ribbon Australia to support primary prevention initiatives in schools, workplaces and the broader community.

(BAASA) and our auspice body Adelaide Dragon Sporting Club (ADSC) cordially extend an INVITATION to all community members to participate in this Multicultural Soccer Tournament to be held in Salisbury United Junior Soccer Club, Adams Oval, Salisbury North on Saturday 11th November 2017 and Sunday 12th November 2017 at 9 am sharp. Consistent with our theme to this Multicultural Tournament, this year each team will represent from different multicultural soccer teams including womens team. There will be a total of 16 teams. The idea of organizing this event is to bring our young people together and inspire in each other a real sense of belonging and strengthened our community activities. We look forward seeing you all there to make this event a success.

18.01.2022 It has been incredibly tough to Australia and those who are affected by bushfire. Salute to brave firefighters. Our thoughts and prayers are to those who have been affected and lost their lives. The bushfire crisis is incredibly traumatising for a lot of Australians. Bhutanese Australian Association of South Australia would like to thank all volunteers who are working tirelessly to save the lives and the property. ... Heartfelt condolences to all all the people and animals who lost their life on this catastrophic bushfire.

03.01.2022 Bhutanese Australian Association of South Australia Inc. (BAASA) to invites community members to attend a meeting scheduled on Sunday, 16 July 2017 at 12:00 pm , St. John Church, 10 Church Street, Salisbury SA 5108. The meeting will focus on the establishment of Bhutanese Community Centre. The main aim of the meeting is to bring community members together to develop practical strategies that address our big project. It is also intended to gather potential members, in order to create strategies, and design fertile environment that support synergies for all members involved and community in general.
