25.01.2022 This painting was inspired by a photograph of a woman with pink hair, I thought how I could use other objects which could make it interesting, tell a story. I used an old history book from my dads library and stuck pages and chapters of it to use as the background, representing a personal story, someones history, and potentially romance as shes holding a flower with a veil over her eyes, more to someone than what you see. I used oil paints and a stuck a fake flower down to give contrast, texture and hierarchy, also using a ribbon over her eyes which to me was really effective! Size: 90cm x 60cm @ Adelaide, South Australia

Happy 2020 60x80cm made with oil paints, inspiration was showing off environments colours enhancing the saturation which can still be seen in natural sceneries. If you dont get my terrible explanation, Google, pink and purple mountains, red and orange sunsets and Im sure I dont have to justify that the ocean looks blue

07.01.2022 So basically loved the colourful sceneries where there was a natural environment but with many vibrant colours to highlight the shapes and outlines of what we may not see, we are always looking at the finer details or the general overview but this breaks down an element in nature we dont always look at, shapes!
