After consulting my governing association ATMS, I have been advised that Remedial Massage falls under the allied health umbrella and therefore is still deemed an essential service. 22.01.2022 Morning all! We hope that everyone is going ok under current circumstances. We just wanted to let you know that we have finally managed to source hand sanitiser that is available for clients to spray their hands before every treatment. We have also switched to paper towel for hand drying in the bathroom. As advised by my governing association I will now be wearing a face mask for the duration of all treatments during this crisis. Thanks everyone!

20.01.2022 Good morning everyone! IMPORTANT UPDATE After speaking directly to a representative of the SA Health commission, stand alone remedial massage therapy clinics have not been indicated on the list of industries that must shut down. Therefore, undertaking all precautions relating too COVID19 Back in Balance will remain open. The SA Heath commission has deemed remedial massage as allied health and therefore essential to maintaining health and wellbeing. To clear any confusion the SA Health commission deems a massage parlour as a business where upon members of the public can walk in at random times to seek massage service therefore creating possible congestion in waiting rooms. Remedial massage is by appointment only and so can easily avoid this issue. I hope you all stay well and safe during these very trying times. Thanks Caleb

So with current happenings in regards to the virus I just wanted to reassure all my clients past, present and future that Back in Balance will remain open as long as clients are requesting appointments. I have absolutely no intention of closing my doors. We have spent sometime today cleaning and disinfecting the entire clinic so be rest assured that: As always...... linen is changed for every client hands are thoroughly washed between every client all surfaces are cleaned throughout the day using the exact same disinfectant that hospitals use Massage has been proven to reduce stress whilst improving overall health and immune function.
