We get it, sometimes it can seem like a big book talking about a lot of old and complicated stories. But reading the Bible is one of the best ways you can listen to Jesus, learn and do what he says and what better way to learn then joining an in depth, interdenominational women’s bible study. BSF helps all people know God, inspire and equip them to d...ig deeper into the word, we encourage one another, discover and grow together on a weekly basic deepening our relationship with God. Verse by verse, we approach the Bible as God's Truth, to be studied, savored and lived out. Whether you are new to the Bible, a seasoned reader, child or adult, we explore Scripture together. Ladies, if this sounds like what you are looking for, please join us on Monday February 10th, at 10am Reedy creek Baptist Church as we start this year studying the book of Acts and the Letters of the Apostles. 24.01.2022 We touched on Proverbs this week. God’s pithy little messages to us. When we seek God’s wisdom in our lives, we breathe life into ourselves and others around us. We make many choices each day around what we do, think and say. When I trust God in faith I am able to speak with kindness over others, see their goodness, know when to hold my tongue from saying all the thoughts in my head, be peace seeking, I can be gentle. 24.01.2022 We had a great time of sharing together the truth that despite our hero’s fallibility, God never fails to make restitution and restoration in our lives. God is our shield in the battles we find ourselves in and it doesn’t mean we won’t get some knocks, but he is our shield, blocking the blows. God gives us a choice always and what we have learnt through the last few weeks of Kings is that even a No from him has goodness written all over it. Goliath the giant relentlessly taunted, incited fear, belittled and called the purpose of the Israelites into question, a bit like our giants call to us. David stepped in to face head on the challenges with God’s strength and had the victory. Great lessons for us this week!

As we continue to walk through Acts we will examine the early church and its struggles without and within, which give us great hope in our God who is faithful to His promises and He never leaves us in our own lives. There is a yachting term dragging an anchor where the boat drifts unsecured when the anchor comes adrift. Our world has put it’s anchor in SELF, and now has few answers as fear and uncertainty set in. God says to anchor our lives in Him and He will not let us drift. We have this hope (Jesus) as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19 We look forward to having you join us on this exciting adventure.
