Hannah D. and her young son were fortunately not home at the time, but they have lost everything they own with nothing from the house surviving. 13.01.2022 CUNTS FUCKED... What else can I say? It's all gone to shit... The federal government has now made it crystal clear that gatherings over 100 people are a no go because we will all get sick and accidentally infect and kill our grandma when we visit her for Sunday roast. That aside, the huge travel restrictions imposed globally make it essentially impossible for artists to come to Australia, so the whole dance music party thing is down the gurgler. ... So here is where it leaves us: - Garden party w/ Leotrix & TWERL: CANCELLED - Gentlemens Club invites: CANCELLED - May Day Block Party: rescheduling to a later date For the 2 shows that are cancelled, moshtix will email you and you will of course get a full refund. Once we decide on a new date for block party, if that date doesn’t work for you (you’re already busy washing your cat, having a maz, traveling overseas infecting a remote indigenous tribe with covid-19 or just not available), then you will of course be entitled to a full refund via moshtix. If you purchased a hard copy off a promoter, you can reach out to them for a refund if you can’t make the new date. I’m sure a lot of you are going to be doing it tough over the next few months, if you work in hospitality or tourism you are going to get completely jammed. We know this better than anyone and feel your pain, our business is essentially defunct right now and we are staring down the barrel of some very scary times. If you’re in the fortunate position where your work is uninterrupted by the covid-19 crisis and you’re still making bank, I urge you to do whatever you can to support music; save that money you would have spent on bags when going out and instead buy artists merch, buy records, subscribe to patreon and onlyfans for artists who’s craft you value and want to see survive these tough times, and hold on to your tickets instead of requesting refunds from promoters who moved dates, many great events like touch bass and splendor in the grass have shifted to later in the year at great expense but they will not survive if their tickets all get refunded and their new date period isn’t supported. The next few months is going to defy the laws of physics and simultaneously suck and blow at the same time. There won’t be any parties, dickheads are going to be trying to steal your toilet paper and you probably won’t get to see your friends much. The one thing you can count on is that there will be music, that’s one thing that no one can take away from you no matter how grim things get. When things get tough, we’ll always have music.
