21.01.2022 HEALTHY CHOC CHIP COOKIES You asked for it! Here’s my secret to a healthy cookie...chickpeas! These are seriously ah-ma-zing, husband and three-nager tick of approval. Consistency can be a little soft due to the chickpeas, but bloody delicious nonetheless - -... - You will need: 2 x 400g cans chickpeas (rinsed and drained) 1/2 cup natural peanut butter 4 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup rice malt syrup (i use less according to my taste) 4 tbsp melted coconut oil 2 tsp baking powder Dark chocolate chips Method: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place all ingredients (except the choc chips) in a blender, until smooth. Fold in the choc chips, and dollop onto a lined baking tray. Smooth out the dollop to form a cookie shape, and bake for 15-20 mins (depending on how firm you want them). 19.01.2022 Mothers Day eve...time to get my bake on! Scones with a healthy twist! Albeit the toppings aren’t the healthiest, use them sparingly 4 cups SR flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt... 300gms greek yoghurt 200ml milk Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Combine dry ingredients, then mix in yoghurt until well combined. Fold in milk with a blunt knife. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, and flatten out to about 1-2cm high. Cut out scones with a cutter and bake for around 20 mins. Serve to yo mama and enjoy #healthierversion #mothersdaytradition #scones #sogood #biddlefit_pt

08.01.2022 This deserves a re-post, it’s so effing relevant to me right now. I bumped into a client from my gym last week, and we got to talking about post baby bodies. Like, who decided we needed to get back to ‘pre-baby weight?’ As if we had been through nothing at all the media, our peers (often unintentionally) and our own expectations of ourselves are so out of whack. I even remember a few years ago another gym client apologising to me for how she looked after her pregnancy ...well i say F@!# that!!! I am more than a set of abs and toned legs. I am worthy of my own love no matter how many stretch marks i earned and if others can’t respect me for all of my new imperfections, then i say f@!# them too instead of looking at the mirror, look towards your fitness, strength, vitality and happiness. 06.01.2022 Impromptu weights with bumpie...if you haven’t heard...I’m expanding! Baby Biddle #2 due late November this pregnancy has been so different to my first; sick alllllll day and night from week 3 (and still going at 13 weeks ) sometimes waking up during the night sick. And all i can stomach is pasta, watermelon and well...carbs! I can’t stand coffee, peanut butter and kale my usual staple foods. A massive change to my usual low-carb whole foods lifestyle. And training has ...had to take a massive step back from what i would usually do. Pregnancy is all about listening to what your body needs...after all, the first 12 weeks are the most crucial in terms of the baby forming into a little human. But today, bubs gave me a reprieve so did a little weights sesh.
