25.01.2022 Last Thursday, Bidwill PS students participated In The Big Vegie Crunch’ to break the record for the highest number of children eating vegetables simultaneously and to get kids excited about vegetables!

24.01.2022 Meet our 2021 School Leader Nominees! The 2021 Year 6 Student Leaders are an important group in our School. They are the leaders of Bidwill Public School and are role models for others to aspire to and follow. This year, students will be choosing 8 leaders; two School Captains, two Vice-Captains and four prefects. In 2021, we will choose our Colour House Captains, for each colour house. When students are deciding on the 2021 student leaders, instead of each child voting fo...r a single individual, children will be choosing each candidate based on a set criteria. The criteria will include the student’s display of our school values, leadership qualities and presentation skills. As a Year 6 leader, each student is willing to: Set a good example to other students at all times Work in a collaborative team Meet to discuss/develop areas that they are involved in throughout the year Actively support and follow the school rules Assist students and teachers wherever possible. 24.01.2022 Today Stage Three were very fortunate to receive a visit from motivational speaker Luke Kennedy. Luke shared his inspirational life story about self awareness and how we all have unlimited potential to be the best we can be. The students engaged in conversations about resilience, reducing negative self talk and the power of our words and actions. The students really enjoyed his talk and all the advice Luke had to offer. Remember each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life. The secret of success is in turning that diary into the best story you possibly can.

17.01.2022 Just a reminder to all Kindergarten parents that Vision Screeners will be happening on Monday 22nd February. If you haven’t returned your note, please do so as soon as possible. There are spare notes in the office. Your child will not need to be screened if they were screened last year in our preschool.

14.01.2022 Preschool Graduation Final orders for preschool graduation are due tomorrow (Friday 27th November). Due to COVID-19, students will not be wearing a graduation outfit this year.

12.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL BIDWILL FAMILIES! Something mysterious happened in our school last night. When the teachers arrived this morning they were surprised to find a large nest filled with eggs and one had cracked opened! Some strange footprints were seen to be leaving the nest. We are still trying to work out what it was?... Today our students will use their amazing imaginations to write about the mysterious happenings at Bidwill Public School.

10.01.2022 At this stage, Bidwill Public School is open tomorrow. We are expecting some staff will be unable to travel to school so students may not have their usual class teacher tomorrow. We ask that any students who cannot travel safely to school tomorrow please stay home. We will keep you updated on our Facebook page if anything changes. 02.01.2022 CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY Our Celebration Assembly is tomorrow (Monday 30th November) for all students at Bidwill Public School. If your child has not yet brought in their required costume items, please ensure that they come to school with them tomorrow. Unfortunately, parents and carers are not able to attend this event but rest assured we will be posting a recording of all the performances in the coming days.
