25.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just a reminder that we have music this Friday 6pm to 9pm with Irish/Folk duo Greenfieldz performing. To compliment the music food will be supplied by Black Goose Cafe next door. Their menu is attached.... This week the venue and bottleshop will be open: Wednesday 12pm to 6pm, Thursday and Sunday 12pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm to 10pm. We still have German imported beers Leikeim Pilsner and Kostritzer Schwarzbier on tap. Ring me to book a table as our capacity is currently limited to 10 inside and 30 outside. Hope to see you soon. 23.01.2022 Hi everyone, Hope you're enjoying the reopening but staying safe at the same time. Today Ben will be brewing a new beer - a Dunkelweizen - a cross between a German-style dunkel and a hefeweizen. It is distinguished by it's sweet maltiness with the banana clove taste of the hefeweizen. Expect this to be on tap in about four weeks.... Due to brewing operations today there will only be limited inside seating of 20 places. Bottleshop operations continue regardless. 21.01.2022 Hi everyone, Hope your having a good week. Quick post to let you know we have booked folk duo Greenfieldz again for Friday, December 4. They will be playing between 6 and 9pm.... Black Goose Cafe next door will be open between 6 and 8pm that night serving their delicious burgers, fries and nachos. So no BYO food that night to make it worthwhile for them. Ring me to make a booking on 0412313513. The rest of this week we are open Thursday to Sunday 12pm till late. We still have the German imported beers Leikeim Pilsner and Kostritzer Schwarzbier on tap for a limited time. We intend to have a couple of our new beers on tap in the comings weeks, including a Dunkelweizen that is already fermenting and an old Dutch beer recipe that Ben has been wanting to make for some time. 21.01.2022 Hi everyone, Well I had hoped that Ben would be the first to name a beer in my honor but it looks like a Brewery in the U.K. has beaten him to it - Theakston who have brought out "Old Peculiar" a British dark ale For a limited time we have 500ml bottles of Old Peculiar on sale for $10. Come in and try it while they last.... Our guest tap this week has Gaffel Kolsch again. Last time the 30L keg sold out in just one weekend. 21.01.2022 Guten tag volks, Last day of Oktoberfest today. Sadly our keg of Hofbrau Maibock sold out late yesterday.... Happily as insurance we got a keg of Leikeim Pilsner 4.4% - a full bodied pilsner from Brauerei Leikeim so your thirst for imported German beer would always be satified. 16.01.2022 Hi everyone, Unfortunately with the lockdown announcement today on Saturday and Sunday we will operate as a bottleshop only from 12pm to 6pm. We are still open today until 10pm so come on down before you have to stay home.... I picked up two 20L kegs of Lindemans Belgian Lambic fruit beers today. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone, How ready are we to reopen as a venue? Nearly ready. It is amazing how many things you can make out of pallets When we know the date we will start accepting bookings. We will be allowed 10 inside and 30 outside based on my reading of the rules. We will be back to normal operating hours of 12pm to 9 or 10pm but including Wednesday (at least initially to 7pm)... 10.01.2022 Guten arbent volks, We are into the second week of Octoberfest and we are happy to announce our third keg of German beer will be arriving today or tomorrow. It is a 50 Litre keg of Hofbrau Maibock 7.2% which is Munich's oldest bock beer with a full-bodied malty flavour. The free warm pretzels continue to be available this week.... I am making progress on the Biersal Biergarten as you will see in the pics. It will be ready to launch on October 21 if the COVID 19 numbers continue to fall. 10.01.2022 Guten morgen volks, Hope you are enjoying Oktoberfest. I thought I would give you a sneak peek of an upcoming development at the Brewery - see pics below.... If you think it is a pile of pallets that I have scrounged you would be right. If you thought I scrounged them to make more wooden beer caddies you would be wrong. What this will become is the Biersal Biergarten complete with tables, benches and fences and so far it has cost be nothing except my time I am working with council to get a temporary permit to use the car park and driveway at the side of our property so we can take the first step to reopen on October 26 (correction October 19). Under the COVID 19 restrictions we hope to seat 30 patrons in this area. So mark your diaries to visit and raise a stein to the reopening. Regards, Geoff Mob.0412313513

The Biersal Biergarten is nearing completion and about to be deployed as you can see by the pics.... We are on the last couple of litres of Delerium Tremens Blonde Ale and the Leikeim Pilsner so I have snared another 30L keg of Kostritzer Schwarzbier to keep the guest tap flowing. As usual the bottleshop is open 12pm to 6pm Wednesday to Sunday and we will deliver locally for free for orders $39 or more. We can deliver further afield for a nominal fee. Given good progress on our Biergarten we have decided to reopen as a venue at Midday this Friday, 30th October. (Subject to receiving our expanded liquor license by then) We will initially have 10 seats inside and up to 30 outside.... So until then we will operate as a bottleshop and then operate on the following hours: Wednesday 12pm to 7pm (ongoing subject to demand); Thursday 12pm to 9pm; Friday 12pm to 10pm; Saturday 12pm to 10pm; Sunday 12pm to 9pm. 06.01.2022 Hi everyone, Hope you are having a good week. Just a reminder that we have Greenfieldz folk duo performing on Friday 6 to 9pm with food from Black Goose Cafe 6 to 8pm (no BYO food during this time to make it worthwhile for them). Ring Mob.0412313513 to book. ... Our opening hours are 12pm to 9 or 10pm Thursday to Sunday. We still have the Kostritzer Schwarzbier on one of our guest taps and we now have Budjovicki Budvar Czech Lager on the other guest tap. Ben has been madly brewing to keep up with demand but despite this the Smash Pale Ale and Citrachi IPA have sold out. To remedy this we have got kegs of 2Brothers Brewery Pay Day Pale Ale and Ocean Reach Brewery IPA to cover the gap in supply. The Smash Pale Ale should be back on tap next week with the Citrachi IPA a longer term project due to hop availability. Ben is developing another IPA in the interim. If you have not already done so come down and check out the new Biergarten outside drinking area. It is pet friendly with grassed areas and market umbrellas for each table. Hope to see you soon.
