16.01.2022 Term 3 is done and dusted and we ended with a simple photographic challenge. LIFE. Nothing quite like an open ended existential assignment. Love James image! Well done mate.

10.01.2022 We had a cracker of a day. Our subject was, 'small/close-up and something out of place'. Got everyone scratching their heads and ploughing into their creative/problem solving abilities... And I love it when the days favourite image is taken by a student who starts off saying to me "it's not very good". Hah !! Ya just never know when you're going to strike creative GOLD. Well done Ashton - love this image.

01.01.2022 Do we miss the small details? Often glide by the tiny incidental things of life? "The devils is in the details" they often say... One of the things I have always loved about the craft of photography is that it always draws me back to the smallest details. This is last weeks collection of great images from our students - exploring the 'little details'.

01.01.2022 How many ways can we look at something. 1? 10? 100?. Maybe there are an infinite number of perspectives and the more ways we learn to look at something, the broader our understanding evolves. Fantastic black and white image by Jana last Friday. All the students loved the perspective he presented in this picture. We can see that even the shadow is an important part of the over all story. One connected to the other perhaps.
