25.01.2022 Big Quince Print is in the process of making a few changes, like everybody! Serving from the door is number 1, because our shop is poorly ventilated. Please order what you can by email, and pick up over the counter.... Photo printing: on hold while we work out a streamlined system. 24.01.2022 Great news! Betta Home Living’s Kodak photo printer is now installed and working at Big Quince Print. We thought it was important to keep this service available on KI and have adopted the poor orphaned machine. So download the Kodak Moments app or bring in your SD card or USB for cost effective, gloss prints in 3 sizes (well, 2 sizes plus one with a white border.)... Remember we also enlarge up to A3 on gloss card and can do inkjet prints up to A0 with a few days’ lead time.

23.01.2022 Merry Christmas from the team here at Big Quince! Just a note: it now being 60 hours until Christmas, we are unable to take on any more "by Christmas" jobs. Come in and print photos from your USB by all means at 4 x 6, 5 x 7 or 6 x 8 inches.... Come in and buy our marvellous stock - we'll be open until 6pm on the 24th! But unfortunately we're booked up with custom photo prints, stickers, book prints, map prints and signs! We will be re-opening, refreshed and enthusiastic, on 6th Jan. Thanks! Alice

22.01.2022 Very proud to announce that there is now a dedicated website for books by Kangaroo Island Authors and other Island books. I've worked in conjunction with KI Art Feast to link to a display at the airport which allows visitors to see what's on offer. We hope the collection will also allow islanders to explore their history and community via the research and creativity of locals. We hope the collection will grow and expand. Even if it's not a huge income proposition for all invo...lved, we hope it can be a celebration of local creativity, and a go-to for people looking for particular hard-to-get local titles. Everything listed as "in stock" is also available in store at Big Quince Print. We have more titles ready to list, and please make contact if you think you've been overlooked! 21.01.2022 Things looked a bit hairy for Big Quince’s print workshop yesterday, but luck and the wind change were on our side this time! Thanks to my amazing son Hamish who helped douse the workshop with our fire trailer before we evacuated. Our best wishes go to those not so lucky. We will be open MONDAY AND TUESDAY 9:30 To 5 FOR LAST MINUTE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!... Please don’t ask for any more print jobs (apart from photo kiosk prints) unless you’ve already booked them in as we have very little stamina left and a lot to print before Christmas. This year we will be back printing on 2 January.

13.01.2022 Big quince print will be open from Tuesday, normal hours, but PLEASE ONLY BRING IN ESSENTIAL PRINT JOBS. DIY photo prints are fine but any design or print jobs that can wait need to do so. Stuart is working to install active fire fighting (sprinklers) on the workshop and house which is currently too close for comfort to the still active fire grounds in Menzies and Lathami NP, and Alice is working on (or recovering from) night shifts in incident control, so Brandon is our one man band! In the meantime SO proud of and grateful for this shot of a few recent visitors to the island in front of our sign!
