25.01.2022 And then, just like that, we can fling our doors back OPEN AGAIN. While some lucky Victorians gently start to wander a little further than their backyard and stretch out across the State, this is where we're at: OPEN - all accommodation (sites and units), running track, flying fox, all playgrounds, all jumping pillows, movie lounge room, amenities, camp kitchens, BMX track and of course my darling, both caffeine and wine.... CLOSED - pool, gym, indoor toddler playroom. If you are going to have a little fossick about, of course we have a bit of space here for you, but wherever you end up, let the wind blow your hair back, explore like a champion and strut a little happy dance. Melbourne, keep fighting the good fight.

Dates available and numbers remaining: Fri 26th and Sat 27th June- 1 left Mon 29th and Tues 30th June- 3 left... Wed 8th and Thur 9th July - 1 left See more

16.01.2022 With four boys homeschooling, like you, we are trying to get through this without completely losing our minds. This is us......... As we casually check who is logged into which class, we realise that perhaps Fortnite has made it onto the National curriculum or that TikTok is a valid source of credible information for Geography. As we forage into the back of our minds on exactly how to formulate the right answer to an algebraic equation that the grade six is asking for help w...ith, we burn the dinner while we convince the Year 8, that actually reading the English novel will be of some benefit. As we prepare ourselves for another Zoom meeting, we rapidly (with clenched jaw) press mute mid-sentence as the youngest comes hurtling into the room at break neck speed accompanied with a blood curdling scream because his Google Classroom password doesn't work........ oh and anyway, he's hungry. But here's the thing. Everyone is doing the best job they can and we'll get there because we are adaptable, agile, we’re brave and determined. We’re funny and smart and we’re intuitive. We can charter a course through this lock-down and we can negotiate with an irrational toddler. Our hugs melt fears and we’re acutely perceptive. We’re creative and resourceful and we’re tough. Even when we get it a little bit wrong, that's OK because our vulnerability and mistakes are endearing. We all know the heaviness of those long relentless days amongst children and that occasionally clunky thud of not being or doing enough. But we are. When you say good night to your children, and one child lingers at the door and won’t go to bed until you have made eye contact, they have blown you a kiss, you have blown them one and you have both caught eachother’s kisses, just THAT is enough. That shiny little moment that allows a little child's chest to broaden, for their eyes to sparkle with knowing and for them to ground themselves in possibility ready for another day. So move bravely forward to that day and know that everyone is championing their own battle but that with a little help from our friends, we can actually do this. Without losing our minds. Our warmest regards, Sophie and Tim Bone ......... and four boys who have just declared "stacks on" and are now in a heaving, sweaty pile on the rug ......... and a dog who couldn't give a damn and is just happy everybody is at home
14.01.2022 Just while we find our feet again, we are taking things very gently and just making sure that everybody feels and IS safe. The biggest questions on everybody's lips are answered below. Some of them are slightly irritating answers but honest nonetheless: 1. THE POOL? It will open when social gathering numbers go from 20 to 50 - we expect an announcement on that by at least June 22nd but 95% sure it will be right to go for school holidays. 2. CAN I CAMP? You sure can.....if you... are fully self sufficient which means that you have a shower, toilet and cooking facilities on board (an en-suite van). The amenities and camp kitchens remain closed. 3. THE JUMPING PILLOWS? - yep, the pillows are right to go - there is a limit of 15 people per pillow but you know, there are 3 so easy to wander up to the next one. Just if you feel ready to move about again and the timing is right art your end. Whether it's now or a little bit down the track, it would be wonderful to see you. You can book these online at www.big4bellarine.com.au or you can call and talk - that's nice too! We're on 52515744.
12.01.2022 And this just may be opening soon....... #skytentglamping #nextlevel
10.01.2022 Grand Final Weekend is full to bursting (Go Cats!) but if you're thinking of mooching around Melbourne Cup weekend, we've got a few spots. Oh, and the pool's open from Friday - winning! You can just book here if you feel like a change of scene for Cup. www.big4bellarine.com.au
10.01.2022 You did it Melbourne Town! Our phones have almost blown up. We are pedalling as fast as we can but if you can book online, that would be amazing too. Xx
03.01.2022 Sometimes you just need to bust a move to a different scene.....one that's different to your own loungeroom. If you're lucky enough to be able to travel, pack the kids' bikes and let them fang around and get home when the street lights come on. #oldschool
03.01.2022 When you just want to take a look around. you’re welcome.
01.01.2022 This, more than ever. Let. Me. Out. And. About.
