23.01.2022 Hi Big50 followers, frame, swing arm and ancillary parts have now been painted only fuel tank, mud guards and number plates need to be painted in rubber gray. Bike slowly coming together.

21.01.2022 Hi Big50 followers, the SL70 resto has not progressed much more then last time other than swing arm, shocks and a few bits and pieces and will be shelved for a while till an XR 75 K1 is completed.

19.01.2022 Hi Big50 followers, a new year begins and so does a new restoration. The SL 70K1 which is a compliance motorbike that can be registered for road use. It will be restored to original visual specs but the engine will be an SL70 stroker 120. As I progress I will show pics of restored parts till completion.

18.01.2022 Hi Big50 followers on offer are 4 kick start levers to suit XR75. All need some form of tlc. Splines are in good condition and are serviceable. $70 ea or $250 for the lot.

14.01.2022 Hi Big50 followers, SL70 project frame has been stripped and ready for etch primer then primer and then Honda silver paint. Fuel tank, mud guards and side cover panels have been painted in the original blue SL colour. Project will continue when bolts and ancillary parts come back from platers

13.01.2022 Hello Big 50 followers, continuing on with the K1 restoration the front and rear wheels are now restored and were given to Lightfoot engineering for assembly. A big thank you to Phil for a great job. New IRC tyres fitted and soon to be on bike.
