20.01.2022 Big Bale Co is now recruiting for the 2020 hay and straw baling season. This is a great opportunity to join a large hay baling contractor in the agricultural region of West Australia. We are seeking: 1. BALING OPERATIONS MANAGERS: We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have extensive experience in baling with large square balers and a sound understanding of the hay industry. Applicants must possess good mechanical skills, have a commitment to health & safety i...n the workplace and excellent communication skills as they will be managing staff and liaising with our farming clients. Applicants must be highly committed and prepared to work long hours for which they receive very good remuneration. 2. BALER OPERATORS: We are looking for highly motivated operators who will operate and maintain our fleet of JD Tractors and Krone and MF large square balers. Hay baling or farm machinery operating and maintenance experience is essential. Successful applicants will be expected to keep machinery well maintained and have the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a high quality of work with attention to detail being the key. Operators must be highly committed and prepared to work long hours for which they will be very well remunerated. Our hay baling season starts early October and runs through until Nov/Dec with straw baling following on. All accommodation and meals will be provided during the baling season. We are also able to offer pre-season work in our workshop for suitable mechanically skilled applicants to start immediately. Accommodation can be supplied if required. We are a family owned an operated business that has been taking pride in our work and delivering great service since 1985. We are seeking a team who are keen to work, committed to doing a good job for our farming clients and that can get along with everyone. Our baling season starts early October and runs through u...ntil December or longer. During the baling season all accommodation and meals will be provided. We are looking for: 1. Baler Operators: Currently we are looking for motivated operators who will operate and maintain our fleet of JD Tractors and Krone and Massey Ferguson Balers which are the engine rooms of our busy baling season. These operators will end up being very busy so if you're keen to work and want to save money this would be a great job for you! 2. Machinery Maintenance/Operators: Currently we are looking for 2 individuals who are experienced in tractor and baler maintenance and repair to assist us in preparing the fleet for the upcoming hay season. They will have a level of experience and attention to detail that will ensure that our fleet is ready to go when the hay is. We operate in a specialised field and perform most of our maintenance in house, so experience in welding, fabrication and heavy vehicle mechanics is essential. If you take pride in seeing a fleet of machines roll out of the shed and into the paddock then this is the role for you. Our workshop is in Wagin and operates year round, including outside the active baling season. Successful candidates will be expected to keep machinery well maintained and have the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high quality of work with attention to detail being the key. In return, operators will be working long hours with extremely strong rates of pay in a focused and fun team.
