08.01.2022 AUSTRALIA DAY We have a had a change of ambassador for the Bogan Shire Australia Day. We are very fortunate to now have Paralympian Prue Watt. Prue Watt is a v...isually impaired (legally blind) athlete who has excelled in the sports of swimming as well as alpine skiing. She was born 16 weeks premature, resulting in severe damage to the retinas in both of her eyes, however, this has not stopped her from achieving her goals. As well as being an Australia Day ambassador, she is an ambassador for Vision Australia and a passionate advocate of sport for people with disabilities at any level. Bogan Shire Council is hosting a free community breakfast on Australia Day from 8am at Larkin Oval. The official proceedings will start at 8.30am. Everyone is welcome. See more
