24.01.2022 Staying connected is hard, especially in a time of lockdowns and social restrictions. Many people are feeling lonely and disconnected. Our matches have been finding ways to keeping in touch during this time, getting creative with video calls and online based activities. One platform we provide is OurSpace, a purpose built secure platform for online mentoring. Aside from our current climate, OurSpace enables us to provide mentoring support to young people across Australia wh...o are unable to participate in traditional face-to-face mentoring programs due to geographic location, long-term illness or disability. 20.01.2022 BBBS mentoring provides young people with a consistent, reliable and non judgemental space to talk. We often find that it is not only our mentees that benefit from the friendship. Mentor Saskia tells us, "Despite being at different stages of our lives we always find heaps to talk about. I have gained so much from this as well. I feel it is more important than ever for young people to have someone on their side"....
