One such business i...s Big Cat Reality fishing charters. I was lucky enough to sample some new ventures with the crew from Wilson Fishing. Short 3 day family getaways to Lady Musgrave Island to experience the wonderful southern Great Barrier Reef or 4 night 3 day fishing charters to the bunker group. With the our test and tune trip we got to experience a little of both. With a constant 20-25knots we caught some great quality and variety of fish in both locations. 08.01.2022 They aren't called opportunities unless you take them. The family-owned and operated business behind Wilson Fishing gave 14 of us lucky anglers the opportunity ...to fish the amazing Swains reef system aboard Big Cat Reality Fishing Charters! What a trip it was for the memory bank! We all knew this trip was going to be something special when owner Graeme Wilson and general manager Kord Luckus were flying in mid-week via seaplane! To go with the excitement of this trip we also had Mark Berg's Fishing Addiction on board with the lucky winner Phil to film for an upcoming show! Which added another level of excitement to each day checking in to see if he had reached his target species. On this trip, I was lucky enough to be teamed up with Greg Lamprecht from Wicked Fishing. Having previously fished with Greg this made life and the fishing very easy as we both had very similar ideas and plans! Now let me tell you this guy can and will sniff out a redfish! It's amazing the planning and thought process he goes through before and during these trips and the proof is in the pudding. That is why he is one of the best red anglers in the country, putting the only red on the boat for the week. There is a lot you can take from fishing with an angler of his calibre for a week and I learnt a hell of a lot, thanks for sharing the boat with me mate! I look forward to doing it again one day. As for the rest of the fishing, I will let the photos tell the story as there is just too much to report on & I'd be typing for days! To the rest of the boys Sammy Hitzke, Nick Whyte, Tim Mulhall, John Carmody, Justin Nichols, Mark Berg & Troy Dixon thanks for making the week it was, sharing a laugh and having a bloody good time! I can not wait to do it again! The crew behind Big Cat Reality Fishing Charters were flawless. Their amazing deck hands Jimbo Rosman, Brad & Franky you guys went from dusk till dawn and nothing was to much hassle for you guys. Michael McCalman & Kenny your food was amazing & faultless!
