25.01.2022 The kids at Banyan Fields Primary School OSHC have enjoyed playing together this afternoon, whilst maintaining physical distancing. It has been great for them to have a run around after a full day of onsite learning, with badminton being the game of choice today!

24.01.2022 The lovely Wembley Primary School OSHC team have been busy facilitating the fascination of kids, with making characters out of wooden cooking spoons. The children have just made a start on Wembley Spoonville and we cant wait to see more!

24.01.2022 We always aim to balance learning with fun at Big Childcare. Staff arent exempt! This morning we hosted Zoom Trivia for our incredible staff after our regular meeting. There were loads of laughs and true team spirit on display. Ps. The Quiz Master may or may not have been Zoomed in live from Las Vegas!

23.01.2022 It’s NAIDOC Week where celebrations are held across Australia to acknowledge the history, culture & achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It was lovely to see this student Poppy, read the group a Dreamtime story.

22.01.2022 We wanted to use R U OK? Day to give our hardworking and caring staff, an outlet to enhance their wellbeing. Big Childcare held some Zoom sessions this morning, whereby staff could attend tutorials run by our very own talented Centre Managers and Head Office team. The cooking group made Apple-Caramel Crumble, the fitness class did a work-out to Nutbush, the make-up class became batwing eyeliner specialists, whilst the gaming attendees learnt some handy tricks when using Swi...tch and X-box. Lots of smiles and so many laughs were had, and it was a great way to check-in with each other. A fabulous morning for an incredible team..check out the photos!

21.01.2022 Today is Indigenous Literacy Day. Our OSHC kids have enjoyed spending the last couple of days immersing themselves in incredible stories and experiences to learn more about Indigenous culture, stories, language and literacy.

14.01.2022 In the spirit of the Science Week theme Deep Blue, Riverwalk OSHC children have been exploring water densities of fresh versus salt water, even replicating an ocean in a jar!

14.01.2022 More from NAIDOC Week 2020.... The children from Reservoir East Primary School OSHC, wrote down the country they come from and the country they are currently living and learning on (Wurundjeri/Woi Wurrung Country). Amongst lots of other activities, some children painted their hands with the colours of the Aboriginal flag and discussed the significance of it, and what each colour represents. ... Our educators also created the Aboriginal Flag using the fruit as a part of the afternoon snack.

13.01.2022 Final touches are complete! Riverwalk Primary School OSHC is SO VERY ready for Holiday Care! The children and educators helped to bring the spaces to life, which was inspired by our main event - the Big Show Day!

03.01.2022 These clever kids were teaching their educators how to make animated Christmas gifts. By copying and pasting their first picture and then adding more each frame, the images became animated. We too, learn from the children and they grow in confidence from teaching us!
