20.01.2022 We are very pleased to get our new citrus tree order from NSW. Due to Covid the demand for fruit trees has been extremely high and growers have not been able to keep up the supply hence we have resorted to sourcing our Citrus trees from NSW. We now have a new supply of Washington Navel, Seedless Valencia Orange, Cara Cara orange, Maltese Blood Orange, Star Ruby and Rio Red Grapefruit, Emperor, Afourer, Imperial, Clementine and Honey Murcot mandarin, Eureka, Lisbon and Meyer L...emon, Tahitian and Kaffir Lime and Meiwa Cumquat. In advanced sizes we also have Dwarf Kaffir Lime, Lanes Late Orange, Valencia Orange and Seedless Valencia Orange. For something a bit different we also have Buddha’s Hand and Jamaican Tangerine. 06.01.2022 Open this Monday 28th September (Queens Birthday holiday) between 10am and 2pm. Lots of changes to the look of the nursery happening with the succulents now moved to an area around our beautiful large Frangipani tree making much easier access. Our small plant selection has now been moved to where the succulents were with a new easy access layout. Still working on the top shed which will house our azaleas, camellias, hibiscus and other small plants.... Some beautiful new tripod pots in white, brown and black arrived this week as well as some beautiful bird baths. Some of our new stock in this week includes an assortment of Azaleas, standard Ficus Hilli, Hoya, red Lechenaultia, Sunshine Special Passionfruit, Salvia Mystic Blue Spires, Pencil Pines, assortment of succulents, Weigela florida variegata, Pittosporum Screenmaster variegated, Boronia, vegetable seedlings, flower seedlings and lots more. Some advanced Blueberry Burst blueberries bushes have also joined our fruit stock as well as semi dwarf grafted Mango trees (King Thai). Amongst these are new supplies of Weeping Mulberry, Tristianopsis, Albizia julibrissen (Persian Silk Tree), Magnolia Teddy Bear and Snow Pear Nivalis. We now also have in small size plants Cassia Fistula (Golden Shower trees) and Delonix regia (Poinciana). A new range of indoor plants and a mixture of other plants has been added to our stock. 04.01.2022 Some good news came from one of our main suppliers from the east coast today. Our bare root orders coming in June should not be affected as the Horticulture industry has been recognised, by Government, as an Essential Industry. This also means that we are able to keep operating with compliance safety measures in place of social distancing, limited number of customers at any time and sanitising. Our opening hours will remain as usual and we also will be opening Monday to Wedne...sday by appointment. We had hoped to get a new supply of veggie seedlings on Friday but now expect that order to arrive next Wednesday. Hope everyone is keeping safe.
