19.01.2022 Last night we headed down to Moama to contest the NSW title and have our first race for the season. Before I give the results, I must say that I had a great nig...ht racing in front of my Brother and my 2 nephews who travelled all the way from singleton NSW that was close to an 11hr drive and some great mates and their kids, made the night that extra special. Heat 1, I started in p2 and ended up finishing P3 Heat 2 started at the rear of the field and could only manage to gain 1 spot so I finished 7th Heat 3, started out of P4 and dropped 2 places to finish P6 During the heats I could only drive the car on the low line and the sometimes creep up to the middle as the car was tight and she wanted to push up high coming out of the corners. Started B main out of 6, we made a couple of changes to the car thanks to Grant Cullinger and Justin Juddy Richardson, the car ended up being a hell of a lot better and I managed to finish in P3 to my suprise which put me out of P17 in the A main. The track conditions werent the best at the end of the night, the car started off well but ended up going off with about 10 laps to go. I believe I may have gained a few spots as a couple of cars dropped out so I think I may have finished 14th or 15th but that isnt official as I havent seen the final standings All in all I believe I had some great results but have a great deal to learn and I actually finished a whole meeting and was able to drive the car back on the trailer.
