21.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Although Big Night Out remains cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, weve been working very hard on another exciting project! Introducing... TheraPlay.TV!!! ... TheraPlay.TV is an online subscription platform with a wide range of dance and exercise channels including Pop N Lockin, Jazz, and Cheer Club! Channels will be dropping next week so although we cant all party and dance together - you can still groove along and learn some new dance moves from the safety of your homes! 10.01.2022 As an important member of our Big Night Out Community, we are excited to share with you some changes behind the scenes at BNO. Firstly, we want to assure you that these changes wont change the fun nights we enjoy with all of you. BNO has been running for 13 years with an incredible effort from many volunteers, with the support of the local community and all your Big Night Out Dancers who attend each month.... Over these past 13 years, we have seen changes, growth of the event and strengthening of our community.The next phrase for Big Night Out will look to Active Eight taking over the logistics and facilitating of the Big Night Out event. As per the AGM, Big Night Out Dance Parties Incorporated as an incorporated association is officially closed and all functions of Big Night Out event will be run by Active Eight. So what does this mean? It means that Big Night Out will continue to operate the first friday of the month, like it always has (except January of course), it will still be the same great atmosphere and dance party; however it will be facilitated by Active Eight rather than being operated by Volunteers under Big Night Out Dance Parties Incoporated. It means that we are sending out authorisation to consent to release information from Big Night Out Dance Parties Incorporated to Active Eight incorporated to assist them to keep running the event, with your consent to share this information. It also means that the email address, Facebook and website associated with the Big Night Out Dance Parties Incorporated will be shut down or redirected as per September. 08.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came to Big Night Out last Friday! We had an absolute blast and we hope you did too! Just a reminder the NEXT BNO IS FRIDAY 3RD APRIL 2020! It will be SPACE-THEMED!! From April, the price of BNO will increase to $30. BNO has been running at a loss for the past 18 months and this increase is reflective of the costs required to facilitate each event and keep the party rolling! ... Dont forget - BNO can be paid with NDIS funding!
