With COVID-19 taking over our news headlines and everyday conversations, we want you to know that we are taking extra precautions to minimise the chance of any cases developing and spreading within our community. We are trading as usual and dont plan on changing that anytime soon. With that said, we have been very thorough when cleaning our store and sanitising all bench tops, chairs, door handles, and especially all high-contact areas like our landline...s and eftpos machine. Our staff have been asked to stay home if they are feeling unwell. At this stage, none of us have recently travelled overseas or have been in contact with a person who has tested positive to the virus. We would like to assure all customers who are self-isolating, social-distancing or those who just prefer to stay home, that we do have an UBER EATS option that you can use to have your meals delivered to you instead. As you would all have heard, last night our PM announced new bans on dine-in cafe and restaurants, restricting them to takeaway only. Fortunately for us at Big Pappas, this ban does not effect us, as we are takeaway only, we do however want to take this opportunity to ask you to support all your local small businesses. We all have fam...ilies to support, and our staff who wed like to keep employed so they can support their own families. Big Pappas Pizza will remain open until we are forced to close. I also would like to kindly ask all our loyal customers to please avoid coming in store if you are feeling unwell. 11.01.2022 Valued customers, The shocking reality of the bushfire crisis in Australia has been truely heartbreaking, and wed like to do our part by raising money for the Bushfire Disaster Appeal via the Community Enterprise Foundation. On Sunday (tomorrow, 5th of January), we will be donating $10 per order, and we are taking any donations we can get, so feel free to come in and contribute as little or as much as you like. ... 100% of all donations will be directed to communities in need! 05.01.2022 Dearest customers, We would like to let you know that our bushfire disaster appeal that was held on Sunday the 5th of January was a huge success. Together, we managed to raise $1260 from all orders placed on the night, which is fantastic! The Big Pappa's family contributed more to bump up the money raised to $1500. As a small, family owned business, we are so PROUD to have raised this amount in one night, and hope to do more similar events in the future.... This money has now been donated to the National Bushfire Disaster Appeal via the Community Enterprise Foundation website. Thank you to everyone who came in to support this cause, together we can make a difference!
