22.01.2022 To all our friends, COVID - 19 (Coronavirus) has changed our lives on many levels. As a result the health system will be impacted for some time. However, here at Big River Health Clinic we will continue to stay open and our focus is as always helping our patients manage their pain. It's worth remembering we don't see sick people, we only see people who are in pain and are proactively trying to turn that pain around. ... Current advice, provided to us from the NSW Health Department is that the virus is spread from an infected person via close contact with another person through contaminated droplets spread by coughing or sneezing, or by contaminated hands, surfaces or objects. The risk of transmission is small when receiving osteopathic or chiropractic treatments. All our staff have been advised to stay at home if they are feeling unwell, we are cleaning all surfaces regularly and have antibacterial wipes on hand at the reception desk. We understand you may be nervous about venturing out and attending our clinic, in these times some level of anxiety is normal. If you are still unsure whether to attend your appointment or not, please call us and have a chat. We ask that you are honest about your travel history, especially if you have just returned from overseas. We all need to work together at the moment. We will keep you posted if anything does change, but for now we look forward to seeing you and helping you with your pain.
