18.01.2022 Big weekend in the greenhouse, received my self watering green smart pots from Sproutwell Greenhouses on Friday, so excited that I could get my new berries into the pots straight away. The need for producing one’s food has become all the very more important to us since the Covid Lockdown. Supporting local and getting back to basics are all part of our revitalised philosophy. @ Big River Herbs

17.01.2022 Our goal for 2020 is to be growing all our own medicinal herbs for our products by the end of the year & working towards Organic Certification. We are currently trialing a range of sustainable, water efficient growing systems for the greenhouse and in the home. There are so many benefits from using herbs, a simple inclusion of fresh herbs in your diet can improve your health as well as help minimise or manage various conditions. ...get back to basics with us tomorrow when we add these different growing systems to our greenhouse.

16.01.2022 Sunday brunch is all about home grown and local produce in our house. We harvested some herbs from our greenhouse, used the neighbour's home grown eggs and local olives. Added Himalayan salt, cracked & pepper & sheepmilk feta. Combining fresh herbs in your meals not only gives great flavours it can aid in internal Bod Balance too..
