11.01.2022 Attention Customers! We've had many questions about the continuation of milk deliveries in regards to the recent news of Mother Nature's closing down. We can assure you that deliveries are continuing as normal, since Big River Milk and Local Farm Fresh are separate to Mother Nature's. ... Another reminder also for our home delivery customers who are not home at the time of delivery, please leave a cooler bag or esky out, preferably with ice bricks inside. We cannot deliver the milk otherwise. Thank you all for supporting us, and have a great week!

10.01.2022 Dear Valued Customer We regret to announce the closure of our business Big River Milk. The mounting bills, unprecedented drought and dry has made it impossible for us to continue. We are selling milk below the cost of production and it just doesn’t work.... Our last deliveries will be Friday or Saturday the 6 th and 7 th December. We will understand if you have other arrangements before this date, please just let us know. This is not something we want to do and we have been trying to make things work for months and praying for rain, but somewhere enough is enough. We greatly appreciate the trust you have given us in supplying the quality product you need. If by some chance you know of someone who may be interested in taking over the milk business it’s not too late to discuss it. But for now we have to close the factory down and the farm is another issue. I will try to call as many as I can but feel free to call me if you like. Again we are sorry to cause this disruption to your business and I hope in good faith we can rely on everyone to settle our account as soon as you can. This will ensure we can look after our workers and keep feeding the cows we have left. 07.01.2022 Dear Customers As you are aware we started our campaign to achieve a change to glass and supply our milk in two litre glass bottles in early November. Our goal was to process milk in the old fashion way and avoid the use of plastic reducing our impact on the environment. Unfortunately we have been unable to receive the support required to achieve this.... We are hoping that you will continue to support us and buy the products as they are, remembering we do have a 750mL glass bottle now. We are hoping to offer our clients a new 1L glass bottle which may be available in the near future. Due to the different way some of these orders came in there has been some confusion with deliveries. If you have paid for milk in glass and not received a delivery please let us know. We are most grateful for your interest and support and we remain highly committed to supplying a quality product.
