23.01.2022 We have been steadily improving YouTube support in Big Screen. We now support a lot more YouTube URL formats and we even check if the url entered redirects to a YouTube URL. This means that if you paste in a shortened url you will get the same result.

20.01.2022 We have started translating Big Screen into other languages. This involves creating different versions of all the text displayed to our users for each language. It turns out there is quite a lot of text within Big Screen so this process may take some time! So why would we do it? We want to make Big Screen as easy to use as possible and having the text on the screen displayed in your native language is one way we can help. As part of this effort we have added two new Bible translations in Spanish. The La Biblia de las Ame`ricas (LBLA) and the Nueva Biblia de las Américas (NBLA) translations are now available for purchase within Big Screen. If you are interested in helping translate Big Screen so you can use it in your native language please get in contact with us.

20.01.2022 Every so often one of our Big Screen users ask us if its possible to download the original file that was uploaded into Big Screen. The answer has always been its complicated... until now! If you would like to grab the original file simply open up the video or image edit panel and click Download Original File.

20.01.2022 We have just made an interface change to Big Screen to fix some confusion. The transition speed slider has been reversed. As you drag the slider to the right it will now increase. This has confused some of our users. We remember having a heated discussion about it and ended up with the previous direction... the problem is, none of us can actually remember why we made it the way we did Along with this change, we have made some other small improvements that should make Big Screen better than ever.

19.01.2022 We have been making subtle changes to our Stage Monitor layout based on customer feedback. You can now easily switch between 4 different layouts by pressing Ctrl + M

19.01.2022 The Kougo-yaku () Bible is now available in Big Screen. This was requested by one of our Japanese users and we managed to add support for it within 24 hours.

18.01.2022 The Berean Study Bible (BSB) is now available for every Big Screen user. Thanks to Bible Hub we are able to make it available for free, no purchase necessary.

18.01.2022 Big Screen song import has had another big update. It is now possible to import OpenLyric song xml files. This means it's now easier than ever to transition your entire song library from software like OpenLP.

16.01.2022 Big Screen now includes the Worlds Best Worship Lyric Font - CMG Sans. CMG Sans has been specifically designed for use in church presentation software. 15.01.2022 Big Screen now has full support for the new version of Microsoft Edge. This means it is easier than ever to use Big Screen at home or at church. Also, an Edge version of the Big Screen browser extension has been release on the Microsoft Store. This extension has all the same features as Chrome and Firefox which enabled the browsers to remember screen layouts.

14.01.2022 We received a request to be able to select all items in a checkbox list. We got to work on this right away and it is now live. This should make sharing media to your entire organisation much easier. Keep those requests coming!

11.01.2022 We had a wonderful time training the team how to use Big Screen at Encourage Church Romsey.

11.01.2022 This week we released a big update to Big Screen. The major new feature included in this release is something we call Additional Outputs. Additional Outputs allow you to create custom Frontend outputs and choose what items will display in them. This means you could have a side screen that show your lyrics and your scriptures could show on a center screen. There is no limit to how many outputs you can create so if you have the hardware you could send custom outputs to loads of screens. We have already had very positive feedback for this. As well as Additional Outputs we have made lots of internal improvements and given our code a general tidy up. The new version of Big Screen is the latest and greatest and is live to all of our users. We hope you enjoy using it and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

11.01.2022 Remote Stage Monitors have arrived! This means you can set up a remote stage monitor on anything that has a web browser. In Big Screen go to Settings > General to generate a remote stage monitor url. You can then use the generated url on all the screens that you would like a stage monitor on.

07.01.2022 Big Screen PDF import is now much faster and more reliable. Large PDFs loaded into Big Screen will quickly split into separate images for each page. This means you can easily export a Powerpoint presentation as a PDF and import the entire file.

06.01.2022 Something that we have released today is a brand new font picker for our theme editor. The new picker cleans up the editor panel by grouping lots of options and also adds the ability to use a custom font. Editing themes should be a lot easier. We hope you like it. Adding the ability to use custom fonts was a requested feature that we are glad to be able to include. Please note, when using custom fonts you need to manually ensure that the fonts you want to use are installed on your computers.

05.01.2022 It has never been easier to add songs into Big Screen. We now support importing lyrics directly from Tithe.ly ChMS / Elvanto.

05.01.2022 We've been steadily making improvements to the Big Screen interface for users with small screens as well as making it easier to see what slide is selected. As you can see from the video, these are small improvements but make a big difference.

02.01.2022 We love hearing from our Big Screen subscribers and adding the features that they want. It is now possible to duplicate a song by right clicking the song in the admin area and selecting duplicate. Keep those requests coming!
