06.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS. . . . . . WE ARE GOING TO BE BROADCASTING LIVE . . . .LIVE ON AIR BROADCAST. On Sunday, 22nd September, 89.7 FM will be conducting a Live Outdoo...r Broadcast from 8 to 10 p.m. at Northern Blues And Roots WA’s Late Winter Blues Festival being held at The Wanneroo Tavern Function Centre. This will replace Derek Cromb’s normal show, Play The Blues. The Festival starts at 12 noon and there will be live phone crosses from the venue to the announcers on air at the time. First up will be Alan Griffiths on Sunday Sounds, 12 noon to 2 p.m. followed by Chris Webb on Local Yokel from 2 to 4 p.m. Finally, Duncan Smith on Top Shelf Music will take a phone call between 4 and 6 p.m. Artists which will be heard during the live on air broadcast include Trevor Jalla Band, Lez Karski and Big Town Players. Make sure that you tune in to 89.7 FM throughout the afternoon but ,in particular, from 8 to 10 p.m. You can listen online by going to www.897fm.com.au
