17.01.2022 New logo. @alice.zulianellodesign and I have been working on this one for a while now. I wanted a design that brought the old & new together and that's what Bijidining is all about. Biji meaning grandma in Punjabi we thought it was a good idea to take inspiration from beautiful Gurmukhi calligraphy(Punjabi script) and this is what we came up with. Alice has done an amazing job. 17.01.2022 Khandvi, mustard oil, curry leaf, lemon myrtle, chilli and coconut served on top of coriander, curry myrtle & ginger chutney Testing a new snack. Khandvi is made with besan, yogurt, turmeric, ginger, salt and water. Cooked in a pot until thick then spread on the tray to set then tightly rolled.... Helly from @entervialaundry makes a great khandvi dish called pasta not pasta. That was a challenge set by her on @masterchefau. Thanks for the inspiration. #bijidining #indianfood

12.01.2022 Topli na paneer, spring greens, wild flowers, dhokla, pickled onions and coriander oil served with chilled coconut broth. This dish was part of 6 courses Herbivorous Night at Home menu last weekend. A collaboration with @risoherbivorousdiner. I want to thank everyone who supported us and sorry to whose who missed out.... Like to thank @broadsheet_melb and @goodfoodau & @gemimacody. It was an amazing week. 05.01.2022 Peach blossoms. One of my favourite ingredients to use for desserts. I wait for these all year. Going to test a new desert. Ras malai, peach blossom cream, rhubarb, caramalised white chocolate and ginger honeycomb. I was going to use cherry blossom but it's not blossoming yet.... #bijidining #dessert #peachblossom
