24.01.2022 If you’re looking around your home and feel like it lacks a bit of personality, chances are your walls are bare. Art can make such a big difference to the way you feel in a space and there really aren’t any rules. It’s about what YOU love, because you’re the person who is going to look at it the most (especially mid-pandemic)! We like how this painting by @amandaschunker pops against the concrete wall and imperfectly picks out the colour of the Roly Poly chair across the room... (see our Stories). 13.01.2022 Is it too early to be looking forward to Spring? Because how sweet is this flowering quince! If you’re feeling a bit rubbish (aren’t we all?), my suggestion is to order yourself some flowers. Stat. Tag your favourite florist and a friend who could do with a little sparkle and we’ll randomly choose one lucky person to send some pretty blooms to this week. 07.01.2022 My Mum is pretty resourceful. When I was a kid, she furnished our meals area with an outdoor dining setting until we could afford something more suitable. I remember it so clearly, a dark brown square laminate table with rounded edges with four plastic beige Casalino chairs. I never thought anything of it but imagining that space now with a fringed pendant lamp overhead, beside our lime green kitchen benchtops, makes me smile. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind using the Didier ou...tdoor furniture inside my house, it’s *that* good. Not only is Ross pure talent and a good bloke, but he’s also the forgiving type, even after we accidentally locked him in Googong Dam near the end of the photo shoot for this campaign. 06.01.2022 Has anyone else been watching The Home Edit? Yesterday I cleaned out and sorted through a couple of shelves in the wardrobe. The donate pile is still on the floor but those shelves sure look tidy. - Jane Woolstore apartment interiors with @sallyhieatt for @kingsboroughcbr Architect I @dna_architects... 04.01.2022 Had my first drive-through Covid test. Someone should re-think the snaking queue leading up to the testing point, I was so dizzy by the time I’d navigated all the witches hats that I almost ran over the traffic controller. The face mask situation didn’t work out too well either since I completely lost my voice and the poor nurse couldn’t even lip-read my mobile number. Points to them for asking if my husband cooks though, I was strongly encouraged to stay out of the kitchen. ...Tick. However, I’m not sure if they realised I have a toddler who licks the floor, so the likelihood of germs being passed between us in our shoebox apartment is quite high. All in all I felt it was a solid start to the weekend. I probably don’t have the virus but I did score some takeaway pizza for dinner. - Jane Woolstore apartment interiors with @sallyhieatt for @kingsboroughcbr Architect I @dna_architects Furniture and art I @sallyhieatt Styling I Jane Goodall for @bijouxhome.cbr Photography I @annestroudphotography See more
