14.01.2022 TOMORROW MORNING WORKSHOP! What's the most common phrase we hear at Bike Budz that makes us face-palm? "I was afraid to come because I don't know anything about bikes". Not meaning to shame anyone for this but:... 1) literally this is why we exist - to help you with the bike things! 2) This is what everyone else is saying too so you might as well come and be amongst fellow novice bike mechanics! We provide a couple of experienced mechanics and a bunch of tools and parts and smiles So come along to tomorrow's workshop and bring yourself and your bike and a $10 donation (we take eftpos too) and help us to help you. 11.01.2022 THIS SATURDAY IS OUR LAST WORKSHOP & RIDE FOR THE YEAR!! Come join us! Yearhaaaaaa, we made it! A HUGE thank you to all our wonderful volunteers & everyone who came down to Bike Budz Workshops this year! What an amazing turn out of events, full of learning, sharing knowledge and creativity! ... To celebrate this we would love you to bring your bike to the clubhouse, whether it needs fixing or not, because this Saturday we are putting down the tools on time (at 11.30am) and hitting the road on time (hopefully)! We are leaving the clubhouse for a social outing, a mystery ride, to a mystery pub, as only as big as a mystery as we make it, really. This is an event for anyone and everyone, it doesnt matter if this is your first time or last time at bike budz, if your a volunteer or not a volunteer (yet), if you're old or young (age is just a concept anyway) if you're into cycling 30km or 3km, or if you just wanna' have some FUN! We'll be leaving the clubhouse at 11.30am (but most likely 11.45am, because we're DIY). If you can't ride for whatever reason, let us know, because we'd still love to see you and can give you a rough estimate of where we will be refuelling..... 06.01.2022 Really stoked for the help Paul at Bike Budz gave me last Saturday. My project bike transformation started well and all I had to do this week, was finish off sm...all bits and pieces. Well, drilling the forks to add boss nuts wasn’t so small, but an afterthought worth pursuing. Looking forward to dropping in for a tune up soon.
