08.01.2022 Hello Every One We would like to take the opportunity to remind all that after receiving over 200mm of rain on the weekend, all trails at the Atherton Forest Mo...untain Bike Park and all trails at Smithfield Mountain Bike Park are closed until further notice. Even though there is a break in the weather at present, forecasts are predicting another significant rain event in the coming days with some models suggesting even higher rainfall than what was received on the weekend. At this stage riders of both parks are advised that they will remain closed this coming weekend Sat 14 / Sun15 . We are not sure at this stage about the status of Davies Creek Park network. If there are any willing helpers that can make themselves available in the afternoons during this week we need some help to clear vent drains etc on the entry trail, the faster we can get any water to escape the better and open up again much quicker. Green link trails through KIWI Loop to Ewe Beauty also require a haircut. The more help we can get this week while the park is closed would be greatly appreciated. Help look after what you ride. Tools can be provided and if anyone can lend a hand with an extra brushcutter that would be great. Please contact 0429911115 if you can help. In other news: the Centre of town Trailhead shelter, picnic tables change-rooms and outside shower at the rail trail are all finished. There is also Public Toilet access directly up the street between the ANZ bank and Carrington Hotel
