23.01.2022 Bike Park is calling for artists to exhibit works for sale in our little nook in Port Kembla. We’re all about contemporary, local art in any medium. If ya’ keen as mustard, or maybe just curious, shoot us an email at [email protected] for more details and tell us a bit about yourself.

18.01.2022 Introducing Jedd Dimension: Emerging from Wollongong on the south coast of New South Wales, Jedd Dimension is a Urban Contemporary, multidisciplinary painter. Sparking his interest in the arts, was his background in graffiti. Which has lead to him into Studying since 2010. obtaining his certificate three and four in fine arts, and obtaining his Bca in the visual arts in 2016. Jedd now primarily focuses on painting in the expanded field, exploiting paint for its three dimens...ional qualities, strength depth and volume. The processes can take over one hundred hours and focus on activating three dimensional space through process light and space time. Blurring the lines between disciplines, challenging what it means to be a painter in the contemporary age. Jedd will have some of his work exhibited for 'Acting Out: Exploring Bahaviour' on the 23rd June at Bike Park Gallery. This is one artist to watch out for in the future.

07.01.2022 Bilby Moorhouse is a visual artist and photographer based in Wollongong, NSW. Her work often reflects on environmental experiences and the ways in which humans interact with and remember landscapes. Moving into self portraits in recent work, she uses the body as a texture to create reflective compositions that show multiple dimensions within oneself. https://buff.ly/2JA7RDv @peasoupcan Bilby is exhibiting some of their work for 'Acting Out: Exploring Behaviour' on Saturday the 23rd of June, at Bike Park Gallery.

05.01.2022 Our next exhibition is 'Acting Out: Exploring Behaviour' - on Saturday the 23rd June. We'd like to introduce to tenderhooks: tenderhooks makes lines, which make wobbly enclosures around colours, most of which are blobbed in pastel-y hues, like peach and plumbus and happy bluebell tinkling blue and all that. The results of this activity, carried out both on page and via a Wacom tablet, have been described by art critics everywhere as "stupendous" and "huh?" and "yeh that's fuk...t dude", but only because everyone's a critic, even you, with your phantom beret. tenderhooks has had work up at Freda's, in the Workshop Makery (RIP) and on her instagram, @_tenderhooks. She tries, mostly. Tenderhooks will be exhibiting some of their work at Acting Out, so make sure you come along to check it out, and give them a follow in the meantime ;) ;) This piece is titled 'no drowning' http://cargocollective.com/tenderhooks
